Both vets at Harbor Vets are the best. They are both so kind and caring. You can tell right away that they will always have the best interest of the animal as the top priority. I had an emergency on a Sunday morning with my dog. I needed to give her IV fluids and was not successful. I called Harbor Vets and they were at my house within an hour. I was shocked! I had two vets in my house on a Sunday morning helping me care for my dog. Since they are so proficient at the IV treatment, I still have them do it. The costs are reasonable and the care is exceptional! I would recommend them to anyone that needs a vet. Pros: Service, time available, caring nature Cons: None that I can think of.

I don't have a lot of free time so it was really convenient to have the doctors come to my place to see Albus. They were both really great and they were so thorough! Dr. Neenan and Dr. Mikkola are very nice people and we like them a lot. They give real good service and really care about all their patients. I totally recommend them to everyone! Harbor Vets are our vets now! Pros: Very thorough. Well informed. Informative. Great communication. Super nice.

My cat, Ravioli, does not like doctors. His annual checkups are no fun for either of us because he gets so anxious in the waiting room at the vet's. He has his house (that I pretend is mine) that he shares with a whippet named Widget and me. Other than his house he doesn't like other places. He gets touchy and doesn't like other people handling him outside of his home. Ravioli's never had any medical problems at all until recently. I knew he had to see a vet but he was uncomfortable and skittish and I couldn't get him in his box. I tried to get some of the local hospitals to come and look at him but none of them would, one of them thankfully suggested Harbor Vets- a house call practice (who knew something that helpful even existed!!!). When Dr. Mikkola heard what Ravioli's symptoms were she said that she and the other doctor could be there as soon as possible. I thought we were going to have to wait for the morning but they said they'd be there at 6 p.m. and they were! I was worried that Drs. Mikkola and Neenan were going to see the angry side of my cat but it turns out that they're a fantastic team for him- they even brought toys to convince him it was okay! They kept Ravioli calm and comfortable throughout the checkup and gave him the time he needed to settle. I was really impressed. They told me what it was, what could've caused it, how to prevent it, and how they were going to take care of it this time. It was nice to be informed and not just handed a prescription and a bill. They treat the animal and the owner. It's a good switch and I've got all of my scheduled checkups with them from now on. Thank you, Harbor Vets! Pros: patience, flexibility, quality care

We couldn?t be happier with the service provided by Harbor Vets. Besides the fact that this service is incredibly convenient, Dr. Mikkola and Dr. Neenan are amazing. Their compassion and having the exam at home alleviated the anxiety our dog previously experienced during vet visits. The appointment was not rushed. They took the time to explain to me what they were doing and why they were doing it. A few weeks after the yearly checkup, our dog hurt her paw badly at the dog park. Harbor Vets came right over to the house, diagnosed that it was only soft tissue damage and prescribed some pain reliever. Not only did we avoid an expensive trip to the emergency room, we avoided adding extra stress to an already stressful situation. When they came back for a follow up visit, our dog greeted them with a "full body wag? hello! After going to a few vets in the area, the price, service, and attention can?t be beat. I am very thankful for Harbor Vets. Pros: Great Pet Care, Stress free, Convenience,

I have 9 puppies and each one needed a physical exam and thier first sets of shots.. They traveled out of thier service area, and didnt mind three other larger dogs trying kiss thier way onto thier lap. They were professional, and made me feel like my dogs were so important and pretty/handsome. It was by far the greatest vet experience that my wife and I have ever had (dogs too). I recommened them to everyone who has asked about a good vet that is decently priced. Pros: service, niceness, understanding Cons: none

Harbor Vets are wonderful! Dr. Mikkola and Dr. Neenan were so helpful with my pets- they were both so compassionate and knowledgeable. Their prices are a steal for the great quality of service and convenience they provide. I have been recommending them to all of my pet owning friends! Pros: very personal service, longer and more thorough visit than any hospital appointment, amazing care and convenience, great prices!

OUTSTANDING!! I?m new to town and have a very busy schedule and two rather high strung dogs. I saw the Harbor Veterinary House Calls listing in Citysearch and decided to try it. It was the most pleasant experience I?ve ever had with a veterinary service. The veterinarians were professional, knowledgeable, understanding, and very efficient. They arrived on time with everything they needed for a standard veterinary exam. They performed very thorough exams on both of my very difficult dogs without a problem. I will recommend this service to everyone I know. It could not be better.
