Being from up north where pizza is a staple item in your diet, I was suprised to find the lack of good pizza places in this area. About 7 years ago, my brother told me about Fuel Pizza. At that time, I belive the only one was on the Plaza. We tried it and were amazed. They have both thin and Sicilian pizza and you can order by the slice. It is great for lunch or dinner. They also have other options such as calzones, wings, salads and garlic knots.
Over the past several years, Fuel Pizza is popping up all over Charlotte and even near Davidson College.
For a good slice, try Fuel Pizza.

I've heard some people say this restaurant is all decor, but it really is much more. Yes, the decor is impressive, but so is the food. This is a great place to go for a more upscale lunch in the Southpark area (I think almost everything was under $12), and the menu is seasonal, so its changing fairly frequently. Dinner is more expensive but definitely worth it. I had the lamb, it was delicious and so is the squash, fugi apple soup.... Large wine, liqour, drink selection.
Pros: Delicious and Unique Food, Good Place to take a Date

I loved it. It was a delightful surprise, I was expecting something not so good, boy was I fooled. Everything was wonderful. It rivals Ruth Chris in every way but the price. I'm from NYC and I know good food!
Pros: Steak is absolute perfection

I heard there was a Morton's in SouthPark but didn't really know where it was located until now. I drove past it while I was at SouthPark mall and decided to have dinner with my friend. It was the best steak I have ever had!! The service was beyond excellent and the people were so friendly. The prices are high but well worth treating myself to from time to time. They have a Steak and Seafood special now for $99.00 for 2 people, 4 course dinner... it was wonderful and anyone can have it. I also loved the $5.00 bar bites that are offered during happy hour. Glad I finally found the Morton's in SouthPark- Great steaks and it is so much closer to me.
Pros: Great steaks and service

I've been eating here since they opend 15 year ago. Great authentic family owed Italian restaurant. Don't just go for the pizza. Try the pasta and the weekend specials. Delicious! My family compares all other Italian restaurants against Amalfi's and we have not found one that even comes close.

i am very fortunate- corporate charge- have had steaks all over USA- dallas, chicago, NYC, KC ., boston, DC, seattle all-everywhere. best local steakplace in usa is mcintosh and thier ribeye is 2nd to none. the prthershos also good, and sides (garlic spinash and potatoes) are a 10
