I have not only stayed at the Westin several times myself, but have booked many rooms for friends and family that are traveling into Charlotte. Each stay has been over the top. The staff at the Westin really knows how to make your special occassion even more memorable when you return to your room to find Champaigne and Chocolate Covered Strawberries. The "heavenly beds" are absolutely amazing. The rooms are a good size and with a great view. The lobby bar/lounge is a great starting place for evening drinks and can accomidate large groups. I would definitely recommend the Westin to anyone looking for a place to stay in Charlotte. Pros: Oh my- the Heavenly BEDS!

I attended a Juvenile Diabetes function there recently and the lunch provided was very good. The cheesecake for dessert was delicious. If it is in your budget, Go for it!

My wife and I had the sad privelege of staying at the Westin during a recent convention. The Service was surprisingly outstanding, until I was attacked by what I can only describe as "Monkey Servers with imitation Coconut Surprise"! The waitstaff should seek employment at "Family Dollar", which I think would be "A value Meal", of Jungle Goodies. Pros: Excellent Accomodations Cons: Food, Food, FOOD

I have never stayed here, but it's beautiful. From what I hear, this is the IT place to stay in Charlotte. It's right downtown, has a crazy looking architectural design. I think John Kerry stayed here when he came through town during his presidential run. Very high class.

We recently spent a weekend here with my husbands company during one of their functions that they held there in this hotel and this place was just SO NICE!!! The bed was SO COMFORTABLE and the room was EXTREMELY clean! They have turn down service and when we entered our room that day we got there they had a piece of chocolate candy on each side of the bed. The room was a NICE sized room. Check-in was quick and easy. There was plenty of parking also. The ballroom was very nice with enough tables and seating for everyone that attended this function. The food they had there was EXCELLENT also. PROS: Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of parking, easy check-in CONS: the shampoo/conditioner they supply has a terrible smell to it

My husband and I stayed there this past weekend for my birthday. He contacted them in advance to let them know we would be there for a special occasion. The attention to detail was wonderful. They took great care to make sure we had a great stay, everything we needed and more. The service was wonderful, we were always addressed by name. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at the Westin, for business or pleasure. The Heavenly Bed is truely heavenly, we don't remember falling asleep, but do remember not wanting to leave. Pros: Service, Ammenities, Attention to Detail
