I would not see these individuals. They will milk your insurance while doing as little as possible for your problem. They push 2000.00 shots that have a 20% chance of working. Day one you are treated like a criminal. A picture is taken of you, and you are required to sign a narcotic contract agreement. Second, you will have to take a urine test day one. You will be branded a criminal that day. Next, don't leave a message for them to call you back. It will take days before you will hear back from them. Also, don't try to get a price for their service; you can only receive the cost after seeing the doctor or receiving a shot, procedure they call it. Once you know what is wrong with you, deal with a good online service. In the long run, it is cheaper. Doctors outside the US are an excellent choice. They will not brand you like cattle or milk your insurance. The pain center takes advantage of individuals who cannot find a primary care doctor that is willing to issue pain medicine. If you look hard enough, you can find a primary care doctor that will help you. In addition, you will save thousands of dollars each year. However, it isn't easy. You can compare these guys to the oil companies.
Pros: You have the right to find a caring physician elsewhere.
Cons: Treated like a criminal, pushed to have 2000.00 shots, and very expensive!

I came in for a consultation here, and was made to feel like I was just another sheep in the herd. I asked simple questions during the consultation, and was told "Oh, just let me worry about that during the surgery." Then I was told that the nerve running down the side of everyone's face (that potentially be damaged and cause my face to be paralyzed the rest of my life) "looked like it was far enough away from the tooth that needed to be extracted not to be a problem, but that it was HARD TO TELL judging by the X-Ray." Maybe I'm just being silly...but I do not and will not have confidence in a doctor who isn't SURE about something as serious as that. I left this office feeling like I'd but a hamper on their day by trying to be a customer, and got a seriously wierd vibe from the staff and was frankly terrified of having my surgery performed there.
Pros: ehh
Cons: Scary and impolite

Timely service to their patients is lacking. My wife went for a simple eye exam which took 2 3/4 hours. Actual time with the physician was approximately 15 minutes, the initial workup took approximately 15 minutes, approximatelyy 30 minutes was spent waiting for the eyes to dilate, all reasonable times. The balance of 1 3/4 hours was spent sitting waiting to see the Dr.
I had an appointment today with a different Dr. and was expecting better treatment. Not So. I was called in a timely manner and then sent to the waiting room for my eyes to dilate. Thirty minutes later I was placed in an examining room to wait for the Dr. After waiting 45 minutes I left. As I walked down the hallway I passed the Dr. talking to several of the assistants. I don't know when he would have seen me had I waited. When I was speaking to the receptionist to settle up my bill two different persons overheard me and one of them came up to me as I was leaving and said she had a similar experinece and thought she would just leave also.
Of course I would never recommend the services of Mecklenburg Eye Associaates to anyone.

i went there my NP was waldrop she totally misdiagnosed me i basically paid 65.00 for nothing she came in asked me questions and told me something so STUPID anybody else would have cursed her out!!!! but i left and she didnt even run tests no check just that crazy stupid idea. PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER CLINIC
Pros: good friendly nice staff
Cons: bad doctors or whatever they are NP waldrop bad

I went in here for foot surgery and besides waiting and waiting to be taken to the OR from Pre - Op took forever when wheeled in to the OR I felt like a clown with everyone staring at me I felt really uncomfortable.
Once in the post op recovery room there seemed to be something of a noisy "girlie chat" going on - I felt really rough and didn't appreciate the frivolity going on around me.
The discharge nurse said she thinks it's OK to do tip toe walking! I just had my foot carved up for 'eveans sake...
I'm off to Presbterian next time
My high spot was the lovely lady at the reception area as one enters the Outpatient Center.
My other high spot is I'm actually walking again so the surgery went well.
