Middleton Place is one of my favorite plantations in Charleston. There is much to see and do, so expect to spend a good part of a day here. The grounds themselves are huge and include many different gardens which are particularly beautiful in the spring when everything is in bloom. There is only one house (out of three) that has remained, and although it is small, the tour of it is informative. The restaurant there is also very good, although the service was a bit lacking. Overall, I would highly recommend visiting this plantation.
