Evo is on it's own schedule. It has good food and REALLY good bubble tea, but don't expect good service. They're never open when they're supposed to be. I came by there well before midnight one night, and their "open" sign was lit up. There was a large group of Asians inside, playing some game, including some of the staff. So I knocked on the window and pointed to the sign. The main staff member came up to the window, looked at me blankly, and then just unplugged the sign! Then he went back to playing the video game. They also have strange credit card policies (something like if you spend less than 5$, they have to charge you extra...I think that's just illegal practice). I just bring cash anytime I go there, or my checkbook.

The food and service at Evo is terrible. I ordered carry out, and I received the wrong dish. After calling Evo and telling them the problem, they told me that they had a "new chef" and that was how the dish was supposed to be. However, I had ordered the same dish a week prior and this was not the same dish. The standard sauce and vegetables were completely different and the only similarity was the type of meat. All of this leads me to believe that it was an entirely different dish and not a change of chefs. All I wanted was an apology, but instead the staff blamed it on me and hung up. Horrible service and even the dish they actually gave me was too heavily salted to even eat. The bubble tea is their only saving grace, but even then... I won't ever go back again.

The Evo Café has very good Asian food. I have been there for lunch and I enjoyed it very much. The prices were reasonable and it was not very busy at lunch time. Although the appearance of the restaurant is not as nice as some of the other restaurants in the area, it was clean and the service was good. I would definitely recommend for someone who is looking to get a quick bite to eat.

Evo Chinese restaurant is awesome Chinese food. Their bubble tea is superb and probably the only place to get some in the Urbana-Champaign area. Their foods are reasonably priced and comes in these boat plates similar to the ones you find at Joy Yee’s. They are very friendly there so don’t be afraid to ask any questions.

Amazingly bad food with incredibly rude staffs. Only thing I could see about this place was the cheap price. They took my orders and nothing happened for the next 45 minutes. I asked the moron at the counter couple of times what was happening to my food and he told me to wait since they were busy that evening. It turned out that the moron lost my order. He never even said he was sorry. He simply told me to go back to my table and wait more so that they could "start" cooking my food an hour after I placed the order. Of course I demanded refund and left. Still no apologies. Sometimes it really amazes me what kind of people are in service industry. The morons at the Evo Cafe were simply not there to serve you but just get your money for cheap, greasy food. I'll never go back.

The only place to get Taiwanese soft drinks. They have a lot of choices. They also have Chinese food catering and noodle soups. Chinese food is only ok. Haven't tried the noodle soup and cannot tell good or bad. Their major pro is those drinks. Very nice!! They also have second floor for computer games and karaoke.
