This is a must do at least every fall. They have so many fun things, like apple picking and pumpkin gathering. You can walk out to the pumpkin patch and pick your pumpkin. They have a great little store with yummy stuff like pies, fresh donuts, apple cider, etc. It's a great place to take a family because kids will LOVE running around in the pumpkin patch or in the apple orchards, and then there are sweet treats in the store just waiting for them!

I love Larry Kanfer's work and am the proud owner of 3 framed photos and several of his books. I grew up near CU and Kanfer has several portraits from not only CU and campus but also the beautiful country surrounding CU. His works really remind me of my childhood and what home is to me. He has great works including everything from corn fields at dusk to The Chief to cityscapes. He's got a great eye and his work is unique and artistic but not overly so. The prices are a little high but there is a big range (big framed photographs to postcards and everything in between). Stop in the gallery and see for yourself - I guarantee you'll fall in love with several pieces!!

I've purchased several fish from the shop over the year and have been very pleased with them. If you are planning on getting a fish there you will need to bring in a water sample because they wont guarantee your fish without one. It's kind of a hassle but well worth it.

This is an OK theater in a great location. It's always tough to find a parking spot, but I guess that's because this is THE place to go! They always have new releases and the prices are not THAT bad. Good snack bar and even games to play to keep you occupied. Watch out though - if you get there at a bad time you will wait in line a LONG time. As far as the theaters themselves go, the seating is not ideal (more nonstadium seating than stadium seating) but it's always an enjoyable experience.

It is very nice that this place is able to survive during these years. Not many Americans are interested in non Hollywood movies so it is very difficult to maintain such a place. It is certainly one of the legacies in U-C. They charge around $5 -$6 for each tickets. Have imported many international movies.

Parkland college is the perfect school when seeking a certificate, 2 year degree or some classes before transferring. It is small but yet up to date with very qualified teachers and not overwhelming. You can take one class or several at a time on campus or off. There is just so many options to choose from and they have excellent support staff to decide which is the right classes and programs for you. A wide variety of finacial options and help is also available. I loved Parkland College and was glad I choose them to earn my degree.

This hair salon is fancy and has a very fancy businesscard. Yet I don't really like it. I had a Japanese American cut my hair. I think her skill was not bad but she didn't give me a hair that matched my face. I have a complicated face ( heavy eyebrows, uneven skin tone, and I don't do makeup) and she gave me a complicated hairstyle! And the price was relatively expensive ($20-$30) so I never go there again.
