I am in love. I just recently had a chance to visit the Cirritos Public Library thanks to a friend who lives in the city. This is the most amazing public library I have ever seen. Up until now Los Angeles Public Library was my number one but this place is amazing. Architectually it is stunning. With six fountains, a sculpture garden, a gigantic fish tank complete with coral reefs and small sharks, over 20 different types of chairs, various themes, and books galore...this library will take away any book lover's breath. I was in heaven. This is a great place to study with plenty of tables or to just curl up in a velvet loveseat and read a good book.

The Cerritos Library is a relatively new library, but I have to say it has been one of the best I have ever been to. The environment has a peaceful ambience, ideal for studying. They have over 100 computers with high speed internet access. They also have 2 stories of books and reference material. The aquarium is also simply beautiful. Compared to all the other dull libraries I have been too this one was the most fun and enjoyable.

This library was featured in Reader's Digest last year as one of the country's best libraries. The large structure has multiple study rooms, jillions of computers for research, etc., and a fantastic children's area that includes a lighthouse, dinosaur skeleton, and video-green-screen experience. Atmospheric details encompass a large wall-sized aquarium, and glass sculpures by Chihuly. Inspired by Disneyland, it was designed to engage people of all ages on many different levels--come take a look!

This is the world classic Cerritos Library. It took 40 million dollars of city capital to build this library. The exterior is made out of on of the shiniest titanium metals, and the inside has many themes. My personal favorite is the old reading room because it gives a very homely setting near a fireplace.

This is literally the best library in the country. The City of Cerritos spent $40 million to build this fantastic place. The outside is built with titanium and the inside is just marvelous. They have a small bookstore. The children's section has a giant dinosaur skeleton that leaves people with awe. All the librarians are nice and help you in everyway possible. They will walk with you and talk to you and help you find your books.
