This McKay's location in Centreville buys and sells new and used music, books, and movies. If you are interested in selling items they will give you store credit for their merchandise. I was able to find some hard to find rare import music singles here last year that I couldn’t find anywhere else. I was very satisfied with my purchases and plan on visiting them again for my rare music needs.

This is a great place to go if you want to buy specific books used. There is a huge selection at McKays and the shelves are really well organized. (There are also many copies of popular books, so if you are looking for recent or best selling titles, you'll likely find many copies at McKays). The problem I have with the store is how they determine what price you'll get for your used items that you want to sell back to the store. They offer nearly no money back, and for many items (i.e. non-fiction) they only offer store credit. I also don't think the staff is overly friendly. If you're looking for great priced books to buy, McKay's is a stop for you; but if you want to resell your books, I don't recommend them at all.

McKay's has 2 locations - Centreville and Manassas. They buy your used materials and either give you credit to buy merchandise or cash. It's also a great place to buy novels, cds, reference books, children's books, and movies. The only disadvantage is that the store does not have a database for customers to browse.

If you are looking for an affordable way to purchase books McKays is the place for you. McKays has a wide selection of soft cover books in every genre imagineable at extremely cheap prices. They have been used but some still look brand new. They also have some hard cover books but these tend to be a little harder to come by. They carry cds and some videos and video games also. Once you finish reading your books you can sell them back the store for a credit and buy more books. It is an excellent way to buy and sell your books if you are an avid reader (like my husband). I would recommend McKays to most anyone who loves to read.
