This is a local liquor store off of highway 65 in East Bethel. It has recently expanded and it appears that they have more beer than ever now! If you need a keg or beer for any occasion, they have it all. My husband and I, however, are more wine drinkers and their selection of wine is very poor. That is a bit of a disappointment, but a nice place otherwise.

Okay, we are not bikers nor do we know any, but my husband and I dropped in one night for a quick bite to eat. Luckily it wasn't on one of their busiest nights as I have seen the parking lot full and parking down the road. The atmosphere is a little strange for someone who isn't used to it I think, the lights were not dimmed, there wasn't any music, and the place was not "comfortable". That aside, it appears to be doing very well as they are quite often full. Also, the food was pretty good and the service was also good.

This health club opened in April of 2005 so it is still very new. The managers are owners and very nice people who I have gotten to know a little. The club is very small but has 4 treadmills, 4 bikes, some elliptical trainers, and other nautical machines and free weights. There is also a gym for classes but those are still getting off the ground. There are dvd's that you can borrow from the front desk to do your own workout in the gym. The locker rooms are very clean and contain lockers and showers. The price if very reasonable and the club is open 24 hours. I wish there was a nautical machine for abs and I wish that there was a pool, but otherwise a great place to workout!

The Refuge golf course is fairly new and it is the first course that we have ever had a membership at so it is difficult for me to judge the value. I think it is a good value. The course is well maintained and is a bit difficult, which makes it a fun challenge. The clubhouse is also clean and friendly. They have good food and nice, friendly people working there. My husband golfs at the course 8-9 times a month during the summer. You can also book a wedding reception or other event in the clubhouse.
