This book store is so cute!! They were very personable when I visited them. I was looking for a particular book that they didn't carry and offered to order it free of charge to me within a week. They looked to carry a variety of different books on different subjects and was very clean and organized too. There was also a place to sit and read in the store.

This is a small pet shop that has a wide variety of reptiles, birds, ferrets, and more. They also sell food and toys. It is run by a resident parrot, cat, and dog that are there as much as the human owner is. The lady who owns and operates this store is very sweet and knowledgeable. I have know many people who have bought animals from here and so far so good! The only thing I would suggest she improve on is the bird cages are not kept very clean. But other than that, very good place to go.

This shop is so nice. The owner is usually working there and you are often the only person in the store. It has been around for ages so the owner has lots of fun stories if you have time to chat. There is a ton of yummy treats as well as other gifts in this cute store. It's right downtown so is easy to get to.

This is a great tack and feed store. They have every large animal feed you can imagine and have average to good prices on it too. As for horse stuff, they have the basics but not a huge selection. They do have a large selection of western stuff but not much english. The staff is very, very friendly.
PROS: Friendly, great selection of feed

This kennel is set in a mountain area that is gorgeous and the dogs seem to enjoy all the activity in this scenic kennel. The staff seems to really enjoy what they do and that energy reflects on the happiness of the dogs. The kennel area was nice and clean and they also had several opportunities for the dogs to run around outside and get lots of exercise.

Whenever I need a card for a special occasion or a small specialty gift I come here to JJ's Halmark. Their selection is ever changing with great new items. The shelves are always well stocked and the store is clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and happy to suggest a gift recommendation.

This store has it all!! It is a specialty gift store that carries childrens specialty items to antiques. It has hand painted stemware and handmade beautiful hair ribbons for little girls. They have always been extra nice when I have visited and been very attentive to my needs. I have found things I haven't been able to find elsewhere in Castle Rock such as Robeez shoes for my baby girl at a comparable price as well! Very pleased!!
