Celtic Crossing Restaurant his open for lunch and dinner. They have re-done a lot over the past couple of years and it has definitely shown. The restaurant is very spacious and the food is great. Prices are not cheap but they are reasonable. The atmosphere is good and the location is convenient for anyone in the Castle Rock area. I think this place is especially good for lunch time with the service being so fast and the restaurant always having plenty of seating available.

On Friday we decided to try an old favorite. The Celtic Crossing was once a great Steakhouse and Irish Pub. The Steakhouse is gone replaced by pool tables and sports bar. The Irish Pub still appealing but food was bad. Corned Beef was so tough you could hardly cut it served with overcooked cabbage. Nothing served hot not even mashed potatoes. Service was at best slow. Sorry but a disappointing evening.

Before heading out to Celtic Crossing to celebrate St. Patty's Day (as we have for several years) I read the previous reviews that the place had changed the decor. Yikes!!! What were they thinking?!? Flashing video machines and two huge pool tables greet you at the door. And that is ALL that greets you. Not a waitress or hostess to be found. We stood around in the table and chair area until we asked other customers if we just sit down anywhere. They laughed and said that's what they did. Fortunately a band was setting up on the stage, which gave us some entertainment for the long wait before our server showed up. We ordered corned beef and cabbage and then learned several minutes later that they were out of potatoes - but would have them in 30 minutes. All "Irish potato famine" jokes aside, the band had started - our drinks had finally arrived so we settled in for the wait. The musicians were great. We really enjoyed the music. Dinner arrived - it was okay, but not as good as it has been. I will say the restaurant did bring out a complimentary dessert - which we did enjoy. It's hard to know where to start about the decor. If you remember what it looked like before - let that be a good memory. Somewhere there is a mirror factory with a lot less inventory. Way over in the corner is a wall-to-wall floor to ceiling mirror... ah... disco-ish... ah... bar... dance floor area. It all goes well with the band of mirrors all around the room at the ceiling. All of this would be fun if you weren't looking for an authentic Irish dinner on St. Patty's day. Cons: Used to be a real unique restaurant worth the drive.

We had gone to Celtic Crossing since they openned many years ago. However, we haven't been there for over a year and were excited when we had a chance to share it with friends from Castle Rock who just moved into the area. I was SO embarrassed and dissappointed. All of the beautiful celtic paintings and classy decor was replaced by trashy glass and brass and looked like a bad lounge act at the "Birdcage." The traditional Irish menu had been replaced by over priced steak and canned vegitables with an inflated price and poor service. The atmosphere was dark and loud, the stage was fitted with an inflated Karoke machine. It's a sad loss, we miss the old owners and food. Pros: It's located next to a really good Italian restaurant that can substitute for the bad experience at the "new" Celtic Crossing. Cons: Everything.

I am a member of the group that played that night and am very sorry to hear that the comments made were enough to make you leave the restaurant. Although I believe that everyone has a right to their opinion, airing our political views to an audience that has chosen to spend their precious time listening to our music is not the appropriate place to do so. bad experience. went to the celtic crossing for dinner and music and ended up leaving when the political jokes started from the band playing that night called Reckless Abandon. When they started ripping our president I left. I just went there for a nice night out with my girlfriend and ended up leaving early, I thought I was at a dixie chicks concert.

This place will take you right back to Eire. The only thing missing are the local farmers having a pint or two while at weekly market. The inside has been nicely done; the staff are tops; good Irish menu; a great place to stop between DEN and COS. I've been all over Eire and this one brings back memories each time I stop there.
