My wife and I have been going to Acacia for a couple of years. Every time we go there, the experience is just as warm and comforting as the last. It's obvious to us that the owner takes great pride in taking care of her customers.

Only The Best comes out of Hair Design Team's Salon in Castle Rock, CO (owned and operated by Sandy Pheney). This salon is not only great at providing their clients with the best hair styles and other salon services, but Sandy takes in new stylists and trains them to become so good at what they do, they can open their own salons. I believe that kind of dedication is truly lacking in many of the other salons I've been to. I love my hair and my 18 year old daughter's hair is finally managable because of the support, products and information we have received from Sandy and her team. THANK YOU HAIR DESIGN TEAM!!! You ARE the BEST!!!

I have mixed feelings about this place. They do a decent job at a fabulous price but it is kind of a dive. The woman who did my hair had hands that smelled strongly of smoke. The towel that they wrapped my hair in after washing it smelled really funky and the place was fairly run down. That said, for my hair, my son's hair, and my daughter's bangs it was $31 before tip so it is very inexpensive. The cuts were not anything special but I can't find anything to complain about with them either. The ladies were very friendly and nice too.

First I have to say that I have always been able to get an appointment within 2 weeks of when I call and I am usually requesting a Saturday, which is probably their busiest day. Anyway, I feel like I am stepping into an oasis and that may sound corny but when you step through the door and you enter your room, all your cares and troubles are left outside. The sounds, smells and the atmosphere makes it such an enjoyable time. I have had facials and massages here and have had nothing but excellent service eash time. I always look forward to my appointments and am never disappointed.

I have been here once when my mother gave me a gift certificate. I have never felt so pampered in all my life. While getting a manicure and pedicure, a warm towel was placed around my neck. It felt so soothing and relaxing. The people here really know how to make you feel special. I loved the facial and massage too. Next time I will try the hot rock massage.

They do really great haircuts here. They also can do just about any style you explain to them. They are perfectionist. They will get You in as soon as possible. They have tons of catalogs you can look at with hairstyles. They will give you honest opinions. The pricing is a little high but the give a great doo.

I got a giftcard for my birthday last year and finally got around to using it - but I was slightly disappointed by the experience at Copperfalls. I'm actually a cosmotologist myself, and have also worked at another Aveda salon as a receptionist - so I know this industry very well.
I arrived 15 minutes ahead of time, like they asked since I was a first time customer, but on top of the 15 minutes before my pedicure I also waited 20 minutes before I was taken back for my service. Now, I completely understand a salon running behind. I know how it goes, salons get behing all the time (usually by no fault of their own but because customers arrive late). However, if I was going to wait 20 minutes (plus the 15 arriving early, that is 35 mins total) I would have *liked* to have been warned that they were running behind. It's just common courtesy.
Finally, I was taken back and eventually the cosmetologist did apologize for the wait, which was nice. She was quiet but did a good job. However, the salon was also under construction - another fact I would have liked to have been told before the service - as there weren't the typical pedicure chairs (with basin attached, bubbles, heat, etc) but instead I was sat in a "meh" room with a water tub and on a wicker chair. This was not impressive, considering I was paying for an $80 Aveda pedicure.
In the end, I did enjoy the pedicure for the most part and am looking forward to seeing what their salon/spa looks like when it is done. I was just a bit unimpressed by the lack of communication from this salon. Just a *tad* on the unprofessional side, which for their prices I would have expected a bit more in that area.
Pros: Aveda, good location
Cons: Running late, construction, customer service

The first time we had dinner here we loved it! The homemade BBQ was the best we have ever had, but after that it didn't seem as nice. We tried to go again, but the kitchen was closed. It seems to be inconsistent with their hours or maybe their hours just aren't normal for the kitchen. I wouldn't go there for the bar scene, but the grub was good when we were able to order something.
