My wife and I tried if for the first time today. We found the products adequate, if a bit pricey. In fact, I asked the price of the two items. When I got home and figured out the sales tax, I realized that I had been charged $8.40 instead of $8.04. Bit of dyslexia, I guess. I doubt we'll go back.

Only Pinkberry could beat Goodberry's, and since we don't have them here in the triangle that makes Goodberry's my first choice for frozen custard. You could get a concrete every day for a year and not get the same thing twice with their huge list of ingredients; fresh fruit, candy, malt, cookies, they have it. There is one specialty flavor of custard scheduled every day and a calendar that you can keep up with for your favorites.
Pros: Fresh, creamy custard. Variety of toppings.
Cons: Occasional crowds

The Goodberry's inm Cary is a wonderful place to get icecream. It is always full of people, and they have really good icecream. The pricing is good compared to other icecream stores. A small is about $2.00 and the kiddie sizes ( which are actually pretty big) are $1.75. They use real fruit, milk, sugar, and everything else. All the icecream is made fresh. It has a better taste than other places since it's really frozen custard.
Pros: yummy, kid-friendly, outdoors, good location in the middle of shopping centers
Cons: when it'scold you have to eat outside

This is, by far, the Best in Cary. This joint is always busy, always packed. The locals love it, especially Hurricanes hockey player Aaron Ward. The ice cream is so, so savory. It really puts Dairy Queen to shame with their blizzards. Great for kids and adults alike, don't miss this opportunity to come here when visting Cary.
Pros: Good for families, good for kids. Fast service.
Cons: PACKED TO THE MAX

I grew up in the Midwest, and going to Ted Drewes for frozen custard when we lived in Missouri was always a special treat for me. It's been YEARS AND YEARS since I've been back, but when my husband and I were touring the Raleigh area recently, we came across Goodberry's.
Oh, the wonderful tastiness of Goodberry's frozen custard! And being able to sit outside and eat our treats as they started melting was such a blast. I relived childhood memories that day, and hooked my husband on frozen custard as well. It has a different taste than regular ice cream and you either seem to love it or hate it, but it's thick and dense and just slightly tangy at the same time that it's sweet.
Thanks Goodberry's for taking me back to when I was a kid!
Pros: Ambiance, Tasty custard, Outdoors
Cons: Can be a little pricey

We tend to do this mostly during the warmer seasons and they think it's a fun treat. Goodberrys always has something different to choose from their menu.

Awesome frozen custard. Can be a little pricey for ice cream, but there are lots of choices for toppings to mix in with your favorite flavor. Summer waits can be 5-10 minutes, but well worth it.

This is frozen custard which is different than ice cream. It's like soft serve ice cream. It is expensive but you can usually find coupons in the mail for at least buy one get one free. I like the concretes which is where they mix a topping right into the custard. My favorite is chocolate with M&Ms. It's a small place with walk up service so you eat outside. That's great on a nice day but the custard does melt fast in the heat.

This place will add fruit to your soft service ice cream; it's called something special. I had a little trouble reading and figuring out the menu and have been there 3x now. It's easier to just ask the person at the counter. I gather they get that a lot because they seem to explain it pat-like. The place is a bit expensive, though. $8 for two good size mixes.
PROS: Excellent ice cream mixes. great taste
CONS: Price is a bit expensive.
