Right around the corner from my Doctor, but wedged into a very small parking lot. This place takes all insurance, but I think they deal with a lot of Worker's Compensation cases, as these types of people seem to be there often. Also pay gas/electric bills here. Nice small town feel right in the heart of a big city. Shelves stocked with everything you'll need at a decent price too.

I'm reviewing this as a concert venue since it doesn't seem to be in the right category. Anyway, it's not a bad place to see a show. It's a bit out of the way from Los Angeles and traffic getting there can be horrendeous. I like that for shows with a general admission floor, the floor is divided up so that section on front of the stage ("the pit") isn't too big thus safer. However if you want to be in that section, come early! It takes around 30 minutes for the floor line to walk through metal detectors, wristbanded and walk to the actual floor.

Clean and quiet facility, as well as a well trained and organized staff. This Chiropractic office is very accommodating to emergency appointments, as well as regular clients. Doctor Glusac has a great bedside manner and can, almost always, make you feel better immediately. A discount is offered for student patients.

A very large faith-based community, the congregatioon of St. Philomena Catholic Church measures everywhere on the spectrum. While we do have our fair share of "cradle Catholics" whose faith interaction is limited to what's 'required,' there are a number of amazing and inspiring youth and adults who share their love of Christ with everyone else, making us all the better for it. Plus we have great priests who are wonderful friends. Just be prepared to joke with 'em =).

This hip-hop, urban male clothing store is located in the center of the Carson Mall (also known as the South Boy Paviliion). They have a typical selection with the usual name brands: Sean John, Fubu, Phat Farm, Ecko and all the other names that people tend to buy. The prices are not cheap by any means--just about normal. However, they do tend to offer items that sell poorly on clearance. If you go at the right time, hey, you might find something worth your while.

They have a great sale going on here: buy 2 used dvds and get a third one free. It's worth checking out. In addition they offer photography services. Located between the Albertsons and Bank of America on Carson St.

I used to frequent this store nearly once a week when I was younger. The workers here a nice and respectful. The selection compared to a bigger, national chain isn't comparable. However, you can get the usual popular blockbusters and Hollywood hits here for a day rental for about a buck or two. No need to pay more for a week rental.

Vases, statues, trinkets, carpets, carvings, tables, furniture: this is the kind of store that S & J Palace is. I've been here a number of times and the selection pretty much stays the same. Some of their items are beautiful and real pieces of art. The rest of it is just normal stuff that tends to clutter up people's houses. Take a looksie here some time to see what they have for yourself.

Conveniently located off of the 110 Freeway, Memory Lane is an inviting store to spend your time. The store is arranged into areas where people have their antique treasures for sale. With so much to see and go thru, be prepared to spend a good amount of time going thru everything there. Prices vary from excellent values to over-priced depending on the seller. The items are grouped together by seller, so some areas have an odd mixture of items to go thru.

The food at Tita Celia's isn't quite as good as home cooking but it sure comes close. For those who like Filipino food but can't make it themselves, this is a place I'd recommend. However, there are better Filipino cuisine restaurants in the area so keep your eyes open for those. Nothing really stands out about this place. Decent food, decent prices.
