I stumbled onto this place a couple of years ago and have often gone back to buy their flower arrangements. They really are very artistic with their flower arranging and have really good prices as well. They also do balloon arrangements and I also have found those to be very unique.

I once had a girlfriend who liked Betty Boop very much. So I went to this store to get some presents for her up coming birthday. I was able to find stationary, widow decals, stickers, magnets, and all sorts of other things with her image on them. I would recommend t his store to any cartoon lover, its worth checking out once.

A friend of mine told me about Barong & Formal so I made a special trip there with my sister. They have a large selection of barong tagalogs. I was able to find one that my father really loved.

This video rental store is the one that I frequent the most because it very close to my house. Their selection is somewhat limited, but very up to date. You can get your entertainment for the night there, and pick up some reasonably priced candy to eat while you are watching it.

I have been coming here more often lately and am very pleased with the quality of appearance of all the shoes that they carry. No one could tell after complimenting my footwear that they had come from Payless! The service is friendly and very sincere. My only qualm about the place is the shoes themselves; although prices are wonderful they are not as comfortable as more expensive shoes. Buy a Dr. Scholl's and you'll be all set.

Tambuli Oriental Foods is a pretty nice filipino grocery store that sells a wide selection of filipino food products ranging from frozen foods, fresh produce, breads and canned food products. I have found the salespeople to be very nice and helpful too. They do have available parking on the street in front of the store.

If you need something and need it cheap, check out Target. It's the only one in Carson right now (but there will be a new one coming soon to what used to be known as the South Bay Pavillion) and has an overall good selection of quality products. Recently Target has upgraded its clothing lines and offers Levi's, Mossimo and other "name-brands" at very good prices that won't make you think twice about shopping for clothes at a non-clothing store. The lines can get long but they are usually very good at opening new registers or redirecting you to other places so it doesn't take too long to get out. Lots of parking. Sometimes the aisles can be messy. And if you're hungry they've got a food section for snacks.

These guys have a wide variety of tuxedos, suits, vests, basically anything you would want for a formal occasion. I rented a tux for my Prom and was very happy with the results. The price was very reasonable, and the employees were very helpful in the entire selection process. The workers themselves even tried to help with the cost; offering various incentives to cut down the price. I was overall very happy with what I got at the Friar Tux Shop.
