The Carson Albertson's on Sepulveda is friggin huge! It's way bigger than the old school one on Carson St. It's newer and very attractive. The deli section is a mini-shop in its own right. The Video Store isn't just a hole in the wall. The aisles of food are jam-packed and always kept fresh--as in then don't let products age in expiration date over there. The magazine and book section is large enough to be its own store. The only qualms about this place are you might get tired if you get lost and have to walk around and it gets sort of cold inside. Bring a jacket and some walking shoes and you are all set for grocery shopping!

Back Home in Lahaina is relatively new to the Carson area and a welcome addition. Located on Carson street, it is easily accessible and easily seen. The food here is awesome and the servings are incredibly big. The service is fast and friendly. Perhaps the best thing about this restaurant is the setting: murals line the walls giving you an ambiance of being immersed in an experience which would be returning to Lahaina.

I love going to Bahay Kainan whenever I have a craving for good Filipino food. They have a place in the back where they sell already prepared Filipino dishes and they usually have a large selection to choose from. You can also order large trays ahead of time for a party. They also sell some Filipino baked goods. They have free parking available in their parking lot.

I personally love Baskin Robbins. I used to work here as a teen and I was treated well as an employee and I am still treated well as a frequent customer. I absolutely LOVE their ICE CREAM CAKES! Chocolate cake with oreo ice cream on top is the best. They always keep their facility clean and greet you with a smile. I believe they actually have 35-38 flavors at a time, depending on which store you go to. They change the featured flavors seasonally, which is a nice treat.
Pros: Good quality ice cream
Cons: none!
