This is the only Thai food restaurant that I've been to but I must say it is REALLY good. Everyone in Carson that I know of has eaten here at least once and never regretted it. The service is friendly and fairly fast. The only complaint is that the restaurant is small and can get cramped pretty quickly. The best part: the meals have huge portions are heart attack inducing (they're THAT good) and are cheap compared to other restaurants. Eat here.

The Wingstop in Carson is my favorite local restaurant. The service is fast, incredibly friendly (I've made some friends just by frequenting the place more than once--the manager/owner is a real stand-up kind of guy). The food is the greatest ever in life. Multiple flavors to choose from that make you want to eat more and more! I recommend the garlic parmesan and the lemon pepper flavors. In addition, the french fries they serve are second to none and go great with your meal. The only knock on the place is that it's always crowded at night--it's that popular.

I used to frequent this store nearly once a week when I was younger. The workers here a nice and respectful. The selection compared to a bigger, national chain isn't comparable. However, you can get the usual popular blockbusters and Hollywood hits here for a day rental for about a buck or two. No need to pay more for a week rental.

This video rental store is the one that I frequent the most because it very close to my house. Their selection is somewhat limited, but very up to date. You can get your entertainment for the night there, and pick up some reasonably priced candy to eat while you are watching it.

I once had a girlfriend who liked Betty Boop very much. So I went to this store to get some presents for her up coming birthday. I was able to find stationary, widow decals, stickers, magnets, and all sorts of other things with her image on them. I would recommend t his store to any cartoon lover, its worth checking out once.

As much as people make fun of Carson, this school is not dangerous or ghetto at all. I went here for my last two elementary years and the teaching staff are excellent. There were no fights that I can remember of. I felt safe here even though I was new and unaccustomed to the street culture at the time.

A very large faith-based community, the congregatioon of St. Philomena Catholic Church measures everywhere on the spectrum. While we do have our fair share of "cradle Catholics" whose faith interaction is limited to what's 'required,' there are a number of amazing and inspiring youth and adults who share their love of Christ with everyone else, making us all the better for it. Plus we have great priests who are wonderful friends. Just be prepared to joke with 'em =).

Veterans Park is the best park in the Carson area. It has everything you need: huge grassy area complete with benches and tables for picnics, multiple basketball courts with tons of people looking for pick-up games, a couple of baseball fields, more grass for soccer games, two huge playground areas for the kids and more. There's a professional quality basketball gymnasium in the building and a gym filled with weights and cardio machines. The gym is highly affordable and has everything a person needs.
