Pho Bistro

The beef pho soup is absolutely superb and very hot. I really love their food here and the pho is incredibly therapeutic when one has a cold or flu-like symptoms. Although this is a family-owned place, sadly, I found the older family members unfriendly and rude. While am sure that they speak English, nothing says "Don't come back here" like not smiling when I pay my bill, ignoring me and providing no eye contact as I say hello, and never asking "how was everything? - a simple request that most restaurants honor. It's about volume here, getting people in and out - with nary a care about what people think. To me, a restaurant is not always just about food - it's also about treating customers like they are king. This family, especially their cute little older daughter, could really learn something about being warm and cordial, instead of talking on the phone and ignoring customers as they are checking out. How rude! Not to mention they have multiple TV sets for customers to watch as they wait, yet they play their own music so loud that no one can hear the TV sets anyway. Step it up, people - focus on your clients that are paying your salaries! more

This is a great family place. The service is friendly, and the food is good. I recommend the spring rolls, pho, and bun dishes. more

This is a favorite of the whole family...both parents, preteen and college kid. First and last stop when the college kid comes home. Nice authentic fresh asian food. Spring rolls just like we had in China town in Honolulu. Everything we try on the many is amazing. Catering is great too. more

This place is fantastic, I go at least once a week if not 3 times in a week. Everything is made fresh daily, so you are assured of good quality food. I have eaten at other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, but none of them can compete with Pho Bistro. They even make you feel like you are part of their family. more

I don't know anything about authentic, but this is a must stop whenever I'm in Carrolton. The rice bowls are fantastic and the noodle bowls are enormous. The eggrolls, springrolls, and crab rangoon are excellent. I highly recommend Pho Bistro for a great, affordable lunch. The service is friendly and efficient too. more

This is the only Vietnamese restaurant that I know of in Carrollton. The Pho soup tastes really good and they have some good eggrolls too. The service is really fast and you'll usually get your food within 5 minutes of ordering. Come here if you're in a hurry and you want some authentic Asian cuisine. more
