Phydeaux is a great little shop in downtown Carrboro chock-full of fantastic gifts for the pet-lovers in your life, or for your pet! They have lots of unique items like food/water bowls, leashes and collars, etc. that you don't find at your PetSmarts or PetCo's. They also have gourmet treats and bath supplies for your four-legged friends as well as regular old pet stuff.
they have a decent selection of foods, including some higher-end lines which may be hard to find in a grocery store.

I have found that Carrboro is a generally dog friendly place, so it is no surprise that Phydeaux is a great spot for dog supplies. This is a very unique pet shop, it has all of your normal supplies as well as original treats for your pets. They bake their own puppy treats- this will surely have your pet loving you and wanting more. I would recommend this store to anyone who has a 4 legged member of the family if you are looking for run of the mill supplies or unique items for your pet.

Phydeaux is a great place to get speciaalty items for your pet. Similar to Wag in raleigh the sstore carrys lots of specialty shampoos, and treats for your special pet. I have a friend who purchases everything for her dog here becase he has special needs. She can't find the food, shampood and such that he uses anywhere else. Great store, great staff...and pets are always welcome.
