this is a great park because it has swings, my kids love to swing, the playarea is nice and easy for our smaller child to climb up on and we don't feel like she'll get hurt and then it's also fun for our older child with the bigger kid area.

we always like to take a drive through during the christmas season to look at the light display, this is a very nice park with excellent walking paths, it's not to far from where we live so it's easy to get to this park in the evening after dinner and play and go for a walk

This park has a unique water feature: two large "Mushroom umbrellas" spray water, then it runs down a "stream" to a small "pond" area where even babies in diapers can sit and splash.
The playground equiptment is for a bit older kids, though...my four year old was a bit intimidated by the slides and climbing net.
But we go for the water anyway.
Water feature open Memorial day-Labor day. Also have activities in the evening (puppet shows, concerts, etc.) in the summer time for families.

We love going to Inlow Park to cool off in the summer. It features a "sprayground" that is so much fun for the kids. There are all sorts of pipes and sprays that the kids can run through and get wet. Some are interactive. There is a picnic area with grills and restrooms available.
In the woods behind there are several playgrounds that are supposed to give the kids the feeling of being in treehouses. They are nice, but more geared towards older children.

More
This playground is known as "Everybody's Playground" as it is accessible for children of all mental and physical abilities. There are ramps leading onto the play equipment and there is a large "swing" that has a bench as well as room for wheelchairs. Swings and baby swings are also available.
There is an area where kids can dig and play , so it's fun to bring shovels and buckets.
There is a large field and amphitheater where Carmel Parks and Recreation puts on Kids Concerts in the summer.
Restrooms are available.

More
Carmelot Park has a "Camelot" theme. It features a large wood "castle" with slides and places for kids to climb and pretend. This part of the park is rather aged, however.
There is also other playground equipment that is much newer. It's large and has lots of unique things for kids to play on. There is also a tire swing, baby swings and regular swings.
You can snap your kids' pictures when they put their faces in the prince and princess cutouts. A picnic area with grills is available.
I believe that Carmelot is run by Hamilton County, rather than Carmel Parks and Rec.
