This place is design like any other pizza restaurant. Service can range depending on the time and pricing is on par with others. The pizza is good and not greasy. Good place to get pizza!

Located near Merchant's Square, this MCL Cafeteria is convenient to access from Meridian Street. The outside of the building is white-painted brick. Flower boxes are on the windows during warm months, usually holding beautiful petunia arrangements. The food is delicious, and the selection changes daily. Value plates help you get a round meal for a reasonable price.

If you want to eat lunch here, you'll have to get here early, or late. Apparently the secret's out, they've got GREAT food!
The food is fresh and very hot and VERY good. They have specials, and a frequent diner club.
If you speak Spanish, you may fare better. Sometimes there's a bit of an accent and they're usually rushing.
Their salsa is a little hot and they don't really have a mild, but will accomodate us with pansy tongues.

Forget the calories - it's so worth it! When you go in you choose your ice cream flavor and whatever "mix-in" you want (candy, fruit, etc). They scoop it out and mix it all together on a cold stone. It's the best ice cream we've ever had. I personally love the cake batter flavor. It's quite expensive, but oh so good!

This little place serves the best and richest frozen custard. You can get shakes, sundaes, and other various frozen treats. Prices are fairly high. There is outdoor seating only. My kids love this place. We had to start referring to it as R's so they wouldn't know where we were talking about. Now they are catching on to that too.

Located in Clay Terrace, Bella Pizzeria is a great place to get pizza by the slice. Their pizza is New York style and very tasty. It's a thin crust. They also offer stromboli and stuffed pizza.
The restaurant has a decent amount of seating. It would be great if they added some outside since it's at Clay Terrace.

Of the fast food places, I think I like Wendy's hamburgers the best. There's just something about that square patty. If only they had McDonald's fries it would be perfect.
We also like their chicken nuggets and were happy to see that they added an adult sized chicken nugget meal.
The value menu has gone downhill, though. It used to be that you got a Biggie drink or Biggie fry for $.99. Now it's only a medium.

Less formal than it's downtown brethren, Oceanaire and McCormick and Schmick's, this entry from Columbus (OH) restaurateur Cameron Mitchell pleases. (No, not Uncle Buck Cannon from High Chaparral)
It's the latest entry from the Ohio chain, situated in Clay Terrace (141th Street at U.S. 31) Mitchell's has the look and feel of an East Coast restaurant and features a great variety of fish and other entrées to suit every palate and pocketbook.
Try the gumbo. Now that New Orleans is less attainable, this is a close substitute.
Reservations recommended in the evening.
All major credit cards accepted.

I wonder what American culture would be without McDonald's. Though it's never been my favorite fast food, the prices are good and so are the fries.
We like the playland at this particular McDonald's, though it's almost always a madhouse. My daughter likes the free kiddie ice cream cones that they offer.
Once in a while a Happy Meal is a good thing.
