Cardiff by the Sea Lodge rates in the top 5% of all the best places we have stayed. We have traveled the entire Pacific Coast from Canada to Mexico and stayed in dozens of wonderful places, and they are at the top. They are very friendly and accommodating. Each of their theme based rooms are uniquely decorated including Jacuzzi tubs, original artwork murals and upgraded furnishings. Many rooms have ocean views, and they are conveniently located across Coast Highway from the beach. The sunset views from the rooftop garden are the best you will find. The rooftop fire pit and Jacuzzi provide a great place to gather. The Lodge is designed to be both a beautiful place and has been carefully constructed to ensure guest room privacy and quite. We have stayed there a dozen times and will definitely return. Pros: Views, ambience, friendly staff, wonderful rooms Cons: None
