You cannot go wrong with a drive thru liquor store. When I moved to Carbondale to go to college this was the first time I ever saw a drive thru liquor store. ABC is a little liquor store with a friendly staff in downtown Carbondale. They have a large selection of beer and liquor. Usually you can see some local characters if you linger in there a while, which is always a bonus. The most convenient thing is the drive thru. I am still fascinated by this because even now that I live in Texas it is very rare to see a drive thru liquor store. If my memory serves me correctly you could even buy beer by the can (large cans) there and they always had a variety of tobacco and magazines with shady characters lingering around.
