I have spent the last two months taking my Mother to see Dr. Carnes and associate of Eye Centers of Ohio. http://www.eyecentersofohio.com/ Her vision was 20/200 which is considered legally blind. We found out she has cataracts in both eyes. The first eye was completed a month ago and next week we will get the other one done. He emulsifies the cataract, introduces a lens implant and secures with two absorbing sutures. He then sees the patient the day after surgery, then a week later. The day after her right eye was done her vision was slightly blurry and 20/25. Yesterday her right eye was completely done healing and her vision is 20/20!! His staff is excellent, soft spoken, and very knowledgeable answering any question with a smile. They set you up a week before with an eye kit and instructions. I can't say enough about how wonderful it is and grateful that he restored my Mother's eye sight!!
