Admission is just admission, everything is extra. Pail of grain was about 3 inches on the bottom and then they threw in three pieces of stale bread. Pictures look much more inticing than actual place, Each pail is $5.00 , panning for gold and pony rides extra 10.00 per child. Take the extra time and go south of Atlanta to Safari park and Petting Zoo! Very disappointed. more

ferrante43@We live in the midwest and we travel quite a bit. When we told friends we were going to Atlanta they told us Tangewood Farm was not to be missed. We raise horses and can appreciate how much work and how costly it is to properly care for animals. When we pulled into this place we were not only struck by how picturesque it was, but more importantly, how well cared for the animals were. My husband was blown away by the variety of the animals and how gentle they were. I was impressed by the cleanliness, and especially the warmth and professionalism of the staff. We all enjoyed playing with the animals and the various activities that were so much fun regardless of age. Our friends who recommended this place have 5 children and have had many birthday parties here and they said the parties were lots of fun. The cost was comparative to the other birthday party options they had used. If you do have a party here the thing you can also look forward to is the domino effect! (The kids at your birthday party will want to have their birthday parties here too) As I stated before, we raise beautiful animals of our own and our kids have been all over the globe, but Tanglewood Farm is the place they talk about as much as any of the places we've taken them to in Aruba and Grand Cayman. more

I took my niece and nephew to visit Tanglewood when they came to visit. It was a cute place. Liv & Kel were 5 & 8 at the time, and they really enjoyed it. They "panned" for "gold, rode a pony, and got to see all sorts of neat miniature animals. My only complaint would be the cost. I thought it was a bit high. I realize that they have to care for the animals. But for a family with lots of kids, it would be quite the expense. more

Tanglewood Farm is a miniature farm. Both the farm itself is small scaled, and the animals themselves are miniature. They include a huge variety of barnyard animals and a few unusual ones like a bison and llamas? There is a pony to ride, and you can feed, pet and hold the animals. They offer camps, field trips and birthday parties, too. They also offer classes for small children to learn about caring for animals. more
