There's little you won't find inside Cardullo's packed walls. Walking the perimiter of the store, you'll go from deli items -- any sandwich with brie will be a hit -- to spreads to teas to chocolates to wines. There's more in between like the most expansive selection of honey you'll find in the area, a counter of truffles, and a refrigerated case with rich butters and creams. If you're looking for an imported food item, this is the first place to check, and if not, go anyway as you're sure to find something you can't live without.

Whether you want fancy cheeses, Hit cookies (maybe you even call them biscuits), cans of tea, or marzipan Cardullo's can probably meet your Euro-needs. The layout is very tight and you will be constantly pressing yourself against displays to let people by. The tea selection is truly excellent, you can find lots of different brands of espresso here, and there is a section of schmancy European wines the staff can tell you about. You can get sandwiches at the deli counter, and this is the perfect place to get a treat for that homesick foreign student. During Sox games Cardullo's thoughtfully puts a TV in its front window so passersby can catch the score.

Cardullos truely is the best choice for gourmet and imported foods. The DeLucas chain offers convenience with its multiple locations but can not boast the finds that Cardullo has to offer. Among my favorites are the ffresh fois gras and French brie with water crackers and the Leonidas Pralines belgium chocolate flown in weekly from Belgium. A wide variety of other imported sweets are available, Perugina hard candies among them - a tugh find in Boston. The deli offers an array of imported deli meats beyond pate as well as cheeses and provides sandwiches created to taste for the busy Harvard clientele. By comparsion to other gourmet shops or restaurants, the prices are reasonable making Cardullos worth a trip off your normal path.

Cardullo's is a food specialty shop that entices you before you even enter the store with their chocolate window displays. Once inside, the large tea selection beckons you and fights with the clotted cream for your attention. There is a deli counter that sells delicious sandwiches and other provisions to go. If you want something special for your dinner party or a picnic be sure to stop by this store. Prices are a little high but well worth it. The service is great.

This store is one of my favorites in Cambridge. It has many gourmet items available and even more in reserve to order. Sitting outside on their tables is a nice way to relax and watch the business of central square carry on. Its prices are high but their items are unbelievable and whether or not you’re in the market, it’s definitely worth a look.

Expect to bump into things. Baskets hang from the ceiling and shelves are stacked high. Cardullo's tea selection is overwhelming, featuring all the English varieties, from Fortnum & Mason to Whittard of Chelsea. Sections are also dedicated to specialty oils, Far East spices and hot sauces. The deli is stocked with meats, cheeses, prepared salads, olives and homemade croutons, as well as a dessert case filled with macaroons and linzer cookies. A wine and beer section in the back offers beer available by the bottle.
