A hidden little place over in Cambridge that serves unique little veggie delights. The prices are good and the atmosphere is crunchy. I ate a peanut tofu dish while there and listened to live hippy music. The food was very fresh tasting and the atmosphere was charming. Reminded me a lot of Amherst, MA. I recommend!

Veggie Planet, at Club Passim, is chef Didi Emmons' baby and it shows - everything on the menu is a little unique and has flavors even a meat eater might like. The peanut tofu is terrific and the pizzas are, I find, an acquired taste - you have to like a thin, flatbread-y crust. Any of the entrees can be served on either rice or a pizza crust, though, so you can try different ways and see what you like. No alcohol served here and service can be slow when they're busy. The vibes are good though and the vegan brownie really is pretty good. The chai is made from scratch and takes a while but it's also good and comforting.
