We return to Armando's even though it is not the closest good pizza joint, because it is so outstanding. Perfectly cooked thin crust pizza with flavorful sauce and toppings. Order ahead, go there, and eat it at the (busy noisy) store, which has a few small booths, while its hot.
Pros: great thin crust, generous tasty ingredients and topping
Cons: well, its a pizza joint --primarily take-out

Everyone always talks about how nice Cambridge 1 is. I must admit that the pizza is not bad at all. You can even split your pizza so you get different toppings and sauces on different sections. However, I wouldn't classify it as great. Noch's pizza is pretty good and much cheaper. Cambridge 1 does have a nice atmosphere though so it's a great date place. It's a good hangout for the college and up crowd. I don't see too many families come here to eat.

Forget the fancier artichoke and goat cheese pizza places (Emma, I'm looking at you) - go to Armando's for terrific basic pies. The cheese is generous and drippy, there's grease (no, don't wipe it off) on top and a good crust. And the slices are large.
By the way, the picture on the wall of the street in Italy is actually the street where Armando grew up. So they say, anyway.
Pros: Great pizza

Always a friendly hello from Armando. His pizza is what I crave when I get the munchies. No matter what kind of thin crust Pizza you like, you'll find it there.
Cons: street metered parkin
