If you stay at this hotel know that you are paying for the location. The rooms are well appointed and yes you can take tea or any other meal in the airy dining room, but because of the design of the hotel it is often very loud even in your room. Luckily, when the noise level is up you can retire to the Harvard Faculty club which allows access to guests staying at the hotel. Also, the beds here are wonderful, very soft and comfortable and there is free wi-fi. Prices at this boutique hotel start at 160 dollars in the off season

My husband stayed at this hotel when he was visiting Boston and Harvard University before attending graduate school here (Harvard scheduled his visit and put him up in this hotel). This is also the hotel where Harvard puts up visiting and prospective faculty members. My husband feels that it is nicer than the Charles Hotel (which is often considered the nicest hotel in Harvard Square) because it is more of a boutique hotel and you get more personal attention as a client. He was very impressed by the fact that they provide bathrobes to clients. There is a nice atrium in the middle where they serve breakfast (either buffet or menu style). He highly recommends this hotel!

This place is located right in the middle of Harvard Campus. I have been inside and it looks fantastic. Can get noisy at times because of its location. There is free parking and private baths also. The place is very close to Baskin Robbins/Dunkin Donuts across the street and the Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant.
