I love the hot chocolate at LA Burdick’s. It’s thick and creamy and to die for!! I get mine made with soy milk and it still tastes great. It’s a little expensive. A small cup is at least $3 but it’s worth it! I will splurge on a cold dreary day!! Yum! It’s very close to Harvard Square and Border Café. Parking is limited. Take the T.

When I finally went to this WholeFoods location, I saw what the big deal was. It's huge, the produce is gorgeous, the fish is very fresh, the layout is decent once you get past the very front, the breads are alluring, the sushi is impressive (for grocery store sushi), and then there is the hot/food buffet area. Not only is there a beautiful salad bar, there is a "Comfort Bar" where you can get things like mashed sweet potatoes. This WholeFoods has a row of booths where you can sit and eat by the window. Crowded at lunch and after work. A lot of the food here is more expensive than other places, so don't get too carried away if you're on a budget - still, a decadent and healthy place for a treat and really good produce.

We drive from Lexington once a week to buy 3 days of fish, and soup. We wouldn't get fish anywhere else. It is the freshest we have found, and reasonable. The help are knowledgeable and friendly. The cooking smells are extremely seductive.

If you are making ceviche or need a whole fish, this is the best place in the city. The rest of the fish is very good as well. The owners are very patient and helpful - they know their fish. Tell them what you need and they will find the right fish for you. Best to go early for the best stuff.

Cambridge naturals just means that it's a natural store in Cambridge. They have many naturals products like vitamins, herbs, shampoos, conditionners, lip balms, oils, remedies and more. The prices can be high but it's worth it because it's natural. They also have their own brand of products for a cheaper price if you can't afford other big name brands. The staff is mixed and very helpful. They always make sure you get all the help you need even if you know what you want to buy when you enter the store.Truereview here to tell you the truth.

I like Whole foods. It's big. Customer service is great. If you don't like something they wil give you your money back or at least a credit. They have a lot of natural and organic products. Many fresh vegetables and fruits. Some conventional items as well. You can bring your own bag or plastic bags and they will deduct 5cents or more on the total of your purchase. You can also buy liquors there compare to the one in Central they have none. They have good wines from the USA and other countries and some organic wines. They also have beers. The store is clean. They have a deli where you can get a fresh sandwich, soups and more. Prices are high but it's worth it. Truereview here to tell you the truth.

Christina's Spice and Specialty Foods is a chef's dream: it smells good, it looks good, and you can get arcane imported spices, rices, grains, peppers, mushrooms and grains you've only read about. The back wall has chocolate, nuts, dried fruits, and various things dipped in chocolate. You can get high grade cocoa here and bulk teas that put Republic of Tea to shame. They also sell spice storage, bottles and jars and such. Come in just to sniff everything.

More
While longtime fans still bemoan the old juice bar, Harnett's is still a one stop shop for all things herbal and holistic. If you're looking for alternate pet care, henna for your hair, nonaluminum deodorants, Dead Sea salts, fancy European skincare, or healthy teas, this is your place. It's also well lit and well organized, lacking the kind of grubby air familiar to similar places sometimes. The prices can be a little higher but they carry a lot of things you can't find elsewhere. Come in for a glimpse at the reference books or a vegan peanut butter cookie and a browse. They close now at 6 on Sunday and, I think, 7 during the week, which is sad for those of us who liked to run in at 8:30 on a weeknight to smell things and buy soap.
