Cheap Local Movers has the best customer service I have experienced in years! I can’t remember the last time I felt a company really cared about me as a customer. From when I booked the job to the very end, these guys made me feel nothing but confident in their service. Oh, and besides treating me and my family so well (they even gave me a house-warming gift!) they also came in under budget and nothing got damaged in my 3 bedroom house move! I HIGHLY recommend Cheap Local Movers for an easy move.

For local suburb theatres, the Edwards in Calabasas is a great place for a movie. It offers great stadium seating, various screens with different types of movies, great sounds, great picture quality. The theatre does have advertisements still. This is a big hassel for those who are anxious to get directly to the movie. A typical screening will hold several trailers as well as several commercials. The theatre is also located in the Calabasas Commons which is a great place to spend a night out. It has restaurants of various scale and price, a big Barnes and Noble book store, and other stores. There is also plenty of outdoor seating on benches and tables. The theatree is pretty clean and, again, does have good picture and sound quality. Also stadium seating is great to have. Ticket prices are expensive, however, they are no different than the average price of other theatres - about ten dollars. For a nice movie, go to the Calabasas Regal Movie Theatres.

For a chain restaurant, Red Robin isn't bad. The food isn't too greasy, and it tastes good for what it is. Stick with the burgers and you'll be fine. This is not a place to get adventurous with food. Friday nights are fun because they have a great magician who goes around from table to table performing cool tricks. That's really the best time to experience this place, especially if you're with kids because it keeps them distracted until the food comes.
Pros: magician on fridays, good service

My wife is the manager of the branch. That aside, the staff is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. It may be hard to find parking at certain times. The queue is well managed (long lines are rarely a problem). Manager is always very available and able to help out when needed. Branch is experienced in managing large portfolios and savings. WAMU also has programs that are very friendly for businesses.

A personal banker, Kishara Salgado at the Calabasas branch was extremely helpful ( I give her props for making the effort to show that she values my relationship).
I had re-opened my account with Wells after a 3 year hiatus ( I've been banking with them since 1994) and was happy with the decision.
The staff at the Calabasas branch is friendly, but I did not like how they verbally tell you your account balance ( i.e. if you have 1 cent or 1 mill in your account). BofA always kept privacy and security a priority, but seems like Wells focuses more on customer service.
Let's see if Wells has changed during my hiatus.
Pros: Friendly Staff
Cons: Not as up to date in technology as BofA

Gary's Island, has the cutest Hawaiian-style clothing and Hawaiian decor! They have everything you need to furnish your home and fill your closet. The clothing they carry is for men, woman and children. Every year at Christmastime, they introduce new hawaiian-Christmas-themed shirts for men which are adorable. Great sales. Great find!

This is an adorable store carrying the latest trends in clothing for kids through tweens. A great selection of clothing, accessories, shoes and gifts. The staff is extremely friendly and hellpful. Prices are not out of line. I would highly recommend this store for a young girl!

Magnolia is a small boutique carrying a nice selection of trendy, but classy, apparel. The owner does a nice job of selecting what appeals to her customers. They carry everything from jeans to cocktail dresses. It is on the expensive side. The staff can often be nice and helpful or sometimes disinterested and only helpful if you are spending a lot of money.

I can't say enough good things about Little Learners / Camp Calabasas. The director is a gem who is very approachable and will address your concerns all the time. She runs a tight ship of caring and responsible counselors who have tons of fun with the kids. Homework is done every day during the school year, plus activities and playtime. Summer camp is filled with every day swimming and weekly trips to the coolest places. My highest recommendations!

This is one of my favorite resturaunts, I would recommend it to anyone for a nice lunch. I love the half faccocia club, soup, and fries combo. Relatively inexpensive but alittle pricey for a lunch. The fries are good. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and attentive and the strawberry lemonade is great.
Go there for lunch if you like sandwiches with alittle more.
