Famous Dave's is a MInneapolis staple! For those who do not know, it all started in Minneapolis, ever so long ago. Since moving here 6 months ago, I have been to Famous Dave's several times and have not been disappointed yet! My husband and I like to split a platter which includes a rack of ribs and several sides. The sides that I would recommend is the Drunkin' Apples and the baked beans. Actually, everything is amazing! The corn bread biscuits are great; and I do not even like cord bread, as a general rule. The Famous Dave's in uptown has a blue's band that plays every night of the week around 7:30 or 8 pm. Even though you have to pay a cover of $5 to get in after the band is playing, I would recommend trying it at least once.

With a variety of dishes to choose from, and a variety of sauces to choose from, based on their spiciness, Famous Daves offers up authentic, delicious meals. Of particular note are their riblets, which I totally enjoy. One meal is about $9 and will feed you plenty, with leftovers to spare. They have a ton of sides you can get with your meal, including spiced apples, cornbread, cole slaw, fries, baked beans and more. There are Famous Daves all around the twin cities, but the one in uptown has blues on Saturday nights, and what goes better with bbq then the blues? For delicious BBQ fare, try Famous Daves.

Famous Dave's is a great place to get BBQ. Besides barbeque they also have great chicken and delicious sandwiches. Most meals come with two sides. My favorite are french fries and their drunken apples. Famous Dave's is reasonably priced, but not cheap. The meals are very filling and their portions are large. The staff is nice and the atmosphere is a lot of fun!

This is my absolute favorite rib place! (It is also my husband's favorite restaurant period!). The ribs are fabulous! They also have great loaded baked potatoes and wonderful corn muffins. They have lunch portions available for a very reasonable price (under 6.00). You can even have the ribs for lunch! They have their early bird options until 5 usually, but I have even asked for the lunch portion for dinner and sometimes they will give it to me. Their dinner portions are quite large, and more expensive. The one in the Mall of America offers Toddler Tuesday deals where kids eat free with adults every Tuesday for lunch or dinner. (1 kids meal per adult meal). We also had them cater my husband's 40th birthday party and it was great! Highly recommend it!
