My wife and I took a trip to Burlington recently because we'd like to move there. With pubs like this and Ri Ra's (also in Portland, ME), I can see I'm going to enjoy this town. I recommend the Red Burly Irish Ale, apparently one of the Vermont Pub and Brewery's most popular brews. My wife (who rarely find a beer she likes) loved the raspberry ale. The bar indoors seemed cozy, but being that it was a beautiful summer evening, we sat outdoors on the patio. I enjoyed the alternative pub grub: i had an organic, locally-raised angus beer burger, and my wife had the Portabella Bird's Nest, which was quite the healthy comfort food. We also split the sweet potato fries, which I highly recommend as well. This was definitely not the last time we'll be stopping by here.

The food is fabulous. The menu tends to change slightly based on the season, just enought to bring the flavor of the time of year. The service is usually very good. An excellent drink menu. Love to go with family and friends.

The food is somewhere between that of a grill and sub shop. The cafe specializes in sandwiches and the like, but also has soups, and sides. The average sandwich runs between six and nine dollars. However, I'll point out the most expensive item on the menu is the Lobster Salad sandwich that costs $14.99. I personally recommend the Chicken Club it's quite good and a favorite of mine.
