WOW 12/29/2005

Hazard Shoes-I think the name of the shoe store speaks for itself, the prices are hazardous to all people. I have only walked in to Hazard Shoes once before and I will say that I will never go into this store ever again. What attracted me to this store and made me walk in was the cute shoes that I saw in the display window. When I walked in to the store to look at the shoes, there were a few shoes that did get my attention, but when I took a look at the prices, I quickly walked out of the store. I will enevr go into the store because I can always find the same or similar shoes at other stores like Macys or Nordstrom for way cheaper prices. Also, the customer service was not great at all. The staff had theor noses in the air and were not friendly at all. I would not even tell a person to walk into the store to look at the high pries because it would be a waste of time. BAD PLACE more

Outrageous Prices 7/15/2005

The only reason I'm giving this store 2 stars is because they're shoes are good quality, otherwise I would only have given it 1 star. I've always wanted an "athletic" shoe store to open up on the Ave, but I never expected it to be this expensive. It seems more like a shoe museum than a store, and I think other people agree with me, because I've never seen ANYONE inside. I like the decor and everything, but they should lower the prices. They sell mostly Nike shoes, and they're more expensive than the actual Nike store! I recently wanted to buy Air Force One's (a high top kind of atheletic sneaker), but when I went, the price was $150! I went to Niketown, and the price with tax and everything was much lower (same style too!). more
