We LOVE Pisces - its always our "special night out" choice for a great meal. It recently changed ownership, but the menu remains fabulous. I highly recommend the Sea Bass, and the Truffle Souffle always gets high marks. Its a cute restaurant (small) in the old Burlingame Train Station, and the noise of the trains going by can be unnerving at first, but they have done a great job with the decor. Service is always terrific, and don't forget to save room for the desserts!

I just came back from a great Thai place in Burlingame, so I decided to write this review. I just happened to come across it (it's kind of hidden and small), but it's right next to Blockbuster (on the left). At first, I was skeptical because I've never been a big fan of Thai food, but this place changed my mind. I recommend the Seafood dish ($11.95) because it has great flavors of curry and eggs (unlikely combination, I know, but it's yummy). Also, I've never had a fried banana, but I decided to try one here, and it was heaven. Plus, their staff wear really pretty uniforms (just to add to the wonderful Thai culture decor).

As you walk into this small, well-lighted restaurant, you can already smell the great smells of salsa, tortillas, and chicken on the grill. All the food tastes great and natural, and did I mention the prices were great? It's a clean place, and if you don't believe me, I'll just tell you that everytime I walk in, I see a friendly employee mopping the floors. I love this place, plus it's a convenient place.

Right when you walk into Mollie Stone's, you can smell this fresh, crisp smell of veggies and fruits (the vegetable and fruit displays are the first thing you see). Then you also smell some flowers because there are a bunch of flowers on sale next to the doors. They have really healthy food at reasonable prices. They also have a great deli! Their deli sandwiches are known throughout Burlingame (try the roast beef!). They have great customer service, too!

King Yuan is definitely one of the original restaurant experiences which you must not miss while you're traveling or enjoying the high class shopping experience at Burlingame Downtown.
Located right on Burlingame Avenue, King Yuan packs a bundle of tasty delights such as "Crab and Cheese Dumplings", "Rolling Lettuce Chicken", "Hot and Sour Soup", "Sizzling Rice Soup", "Chicken in Garlic Sauce", "Black Pepper Spareribs", etc.
I love the classy, yet cozy atmosphere, and the selection of wines from some of the finest wineries in Sonoma and Napa such as Callaway and Beringer is superb.
So whether you're looking for a family or personal dining atmosphere, I would strongly recommend trying King Yuan. My wife and I usually goes on a shopping spree on Burlingame Avenue, then we would sit down and enjoy the excellent cuisine at King Yuan along with a glass of fine wine as a reward!

This is a place that has been feeding people in Burlingame for a long time. It has a wood paneled feel to it, and big roomy booths with plenty of space between them. It offers all sorts of stuff, even Jewish specialties like mazo ball soup and American fare like burgers and tuna melts. There are also a couple of vegetarian options here. Basic food, with neighborhood flare. I noticed a lot of older people come here, probably people who have been coming for as long as the place has been open!

Rabat Shoes, the newest addition to the sophisticated array of stores on the main street of Burlingame, is a small, chic store with friendly employees and a nice, "classy" collection of mens' and womens' shoes. Any kind of shoe you want, they have. Just name it, and they'll have it. Slides, flats, pumps, athletic sneakers, the whole lot. They have a great collection of the latest Pumas for both men and women, and here, you'll probably find unique colors that you won't see elsewhere. The next time you come to Burlingame in need of some new shoes, come check Rabat shoes out.
