This place is tiny (only inside seating for about 10) but it's amazing! They have the best Italian and American sandwiches! They have a great selection of breads, meats and combos and the staff is very friendly! What I love most is that it's family owned and operated, which becomes obvious as soon as you step up to the counter and see tons of pictures their family. I don't know why, but for me, that just always gives me a vote of confidence on a place that I go to eat.
If you're in Burlingame, definitely check it out, but don't blink, cause you may miss it!!!

At Panda Express the food is made in front of you, the warming trays are replaced often with fresh batches, and the dishes are light, tasty and fresh when compared to most Chinese fast food outlets (Mr. Chau's, China Mei, etc.) It's still fast chinese food, and lacking when compared with a decent sit-down place, but for Chinese food fast and on the go, Panda Express is great!
Pros: Food is inexpensive, fresh, made in front of you
Cons: It's still chinese fast food

I ordered for delivery. There was a mix up regarding the credit card receipt. They asked I come down to the store so that I can repay for the pizza. I really didn't have a problem with this since I did eat the pizza. The manager recognized that since it was their error, they didn't charge my card, and offered the pizza for free. Can't beat that.

This is an elegant choice for dinner once in a while. It's romantic, comfortable and affordable. We had lobster and were surprised by how much they brought to the table. A great value. We weren't expecting much but we were wrong!

My vanilla latte is just right -- they get it perfect every single time which is not true of other places I frequent. The service is also friendly and quick. And they have pretty good baked stuff, not homemade tasting, but decent.
They have some outdoor seating in the front so you can come with your dog and hang out! The only thing is that there tends to be a lot of flies so I think they may not be emptying out the trash as frequently as they should be.
I know a lot of people poo-poo Starbuck's but they offer all of their employees, including part-time folks, health and other important benefits which is often not the case of mom and pop places. And they are blue company.
