My fiance and I both had lamb entrees for dinner. His was very good, but mine was awesome! Try the adana kebob. SOOOOOO good, and one of the cheaper items on the menu ($11 I think?). Highly recommended.

I always pass this restaurant and never go in because it's so small. One day, though, I couldn't avoid the wonderful smells coming from inside, so I decided to try it. It's really, really small, but you can tell that the same loyal customers come in everyday (there's a waiting list almost always). I ordered sushi (it was fresh and delicious), fried calamari w/ onions (S0 DELICIOUS. my favorite dish!), and ramen noodles and other noodle dishes. The ramen noodles were thick and full of flavors. The prices are a bit high for an Asian restaurant, but they have authentic food, and it's worth it. I'm definitely coming back here again!

This bakery is a family business that's been on the Avenue for years. They offer cookies, cupcakes, cakes, pies, tarts, and much more for reasonable prices. You're served by the owner and she's very sweet. She usually offers the kids a free sample such as a cookie. It's just those little gestures that make the Cakery a great example of customer satisfaction. They also serve hot and cold beverages and they have seats inside and out (kind of like the Copenhagen bakery that's nearby).

I always used to go here for the yummy Chicken burritos. THey have cheap, affordable, but incredibly tasting food. They have burritos, quesadillas, and some asian style food (teryaki wraps/bowls). They have a yummy kids' menu. i don't think they're open anymore though. too bad, they were really good.

Whenever my friends and I have a minimum day at our school, we come here for lunch. They have delicious sandwiches with some special kind of spread with all these different, yummy herbs. My favorite sandwiches at famous Lucca's are: the tuna sandwich, the roast beef sandwich, and of course the classic turkey sandwich. This place is very close and convenient to my hou se and school, so you can always find me there. great job, Lucca!

I went here for dinner and it was pretty good. I really liked the crab cakes, but my favorite part was the Banana's Foster. The staff was very good and attentive.

If you are on low budget and want some chinese, hawaiian food. This is the place to be. You can get rice, korean steak, salad for just under 6 bucks. My favorite is their szechuan eggplant, crab dumplings, salt and pepper shrimp! The problem here is that they got too many customers yet few chairs and tables. My oh my! You are better off with take out.

For our first course, we had Sweet Potato Soup with drizzles of oil of foie gras and a hint of coconut to whet your appetite. Our second course was Ukoy, one of my favorites when I was young. The vinegar sauce/dip had few thin slices of red chile with a little spice and sweetness tones to it. It was refined and mellow. Our third course was poki, a small cubed raw tuna in a sweet and spicy vinegary dressing that sat on top of some curly salad greens that came with a few thin slices of pineapple, and droplets of white and yellow sauce. Our entree or fourth course was the mouth-watering Beef Salpicao with julienned carrots, steamed green bok choy, and mashed potato. With this, we were given (on the house) each a glass of Pinot Noir wine to go with our entree. The pairing was heavenly. For dessert we tried both the double creme brulee and caramel apples (tiny) on sticks with sprinkles (or dip) of shave chocolate, chopped nuts (could be almond), and tiny pieces of candied fruit (I think). I highly recommend this one. Very unique and different. Freshly brewed black coffee balanced the sweetness of these desserts.
The servings are for fine dining, not big portions, more like a tasting menu. If you are looking to gorge up, go somewhere else. But if you are a gourmet, and you like asian european fusion, you've come to the right place. Where's the asian, you might ask. I would say the ingredients are asian (for some) and to be specific Filipino, but they innovated the cooking and fused it with french methods. Presentation is definitely european (french). The seasoning was just right. Food was serve in modern square and rectangular white plates. We liked how the cup and saucer were designed. It was hip and very unique.
Overall dining experience was excellent. I would recommend to friends and family. Good food, good ambience, and good service.

Elephant Bar- is a trendy, modern restaurant, that has a lot of different ethnic choices. It has a lot of asian, american, mexican cuisiane, that is pleasing to the eye and tempting to the taste bud. It has a great mixture of flavors from Vietnam, china, india mixed in a way that american, asian everyone will like! I thought it was pretty good, i had a pho-like dish, with special sauce and breadstick chopstick. beautiful presentation. The wait was pretty short, although this place is almost always full, and the service is pretty prompt and the food is good, not super good, if they had choosen to focus on one type of dish, but really good none the less.
