I am also an RN and i was surprised to see one of the other reviews. I am not at all fond of doctors and have to be dragged to one but Dr. Augustyn was the nicest, most approachable and efficient doctors I have ever met. I really loved her and plan to keep her as my own personal physician. I have never felt this positive about a doctor.

I never contribute online reviews, but when I went to look up my doctor's numbers and saw the critical reviews, I was aghast and prompted to post. Dr. Augustyn has been my doctor for almost a decade, and she's phenomenal. In fact, I drive an hour to her office b/c I do not want to change doctors even though I've relocated. I agree that you sometimes have to wait in the waiting room an extended amount of time, but Dr. Augustyn spends a significant amount of time with me, never rushes through, and is always thorough, caring, inquisitive, generous in her sharing of medical knowledge, sensitive to my concerns, attentive, and personable. One time we even had a discussion about how how challenging it is for doctors and patients to establish relationships in a world demanding speed and convenience; Dr. Augustyn immensely values her patients and is passionate in her dedication to helping people. She is a mother as well as a doctor, and her care and love for her family resonates in her words and actions. She is a gem of a doctor--rare to find, and someone you will indefinitely keep as a doctor once you've taken the time to consult her. For those who feel in opposition, I encourage patience. Very, very worth it.(Note also that she always responds to emergencies--her office is simply a phone call away.)

Rude! Rude! Rude! and I have been an R.N. for over 25 yrs! Some good doctors tend to be very rude with nurses/staff, but this doctor is extremely rude with her patients. She speaks to you as if you are stupid, very condescending, and belittling. (I don't think she enjoys her job.) I wanted a female doctor for my dtr and I am very sorry I referred this doctor. After waiting for over 1 hr. this doctor spent very little time with my dtr, and was rude and angry the entire time. There are many KIND and Competent physicians, this just happens not to be one of them. I am very grateful my plan allowed my daughter to change PCP.

She was actually better than I thought she would be. She was very informative with me. I liked that she approached each topic without any attitude or unnecessary criticisms. She made sure I was aware of what was happening and she had my best interests at heart. It was my first doctor's visit in a while. I never felt awkward. The only downside was the 30-40 minute wait. Admittedly,I did go in the middle of the afternoon. I would recommend her though.

Dr. Augustyn has been my doctor for more than 15 years. She's the best doctor I have ever had. She always takes the time needed for patients. Even though this may set her schedule back a bit, I'd rather to see someone I know really knows and cares about me than someone who pushes me in and out of the office in 15 minutes time. She listens, asks good questions, and always has my best interest at heart. Even when I moved to the North Bay five years ago I chose to continue to keep Dr. Augustyn as my primary care physician because our relationship means the world to me.
