I don't put a lot of stock into the ability to trust a mechanic (especially as a woman). These guys have always taken great care of me and twice saved me money, once by recommending against doing work I thought I needed.
I won't use anyone else.

Truly a rare find...a mechanic who is curteous, honest, professional, fast, and flexible! Imagine that! He picked me up, did the front brakes and rotors in the promised amount of time, threw in a complete car wash (!!!!) and I never once had the feeling that I was getting anything but the best, most honest and accurate service.
Two thumbs way up!

I really like going to this garage to get my car check. I found this place through a friend. The local machanic, Steve is a doll! He is very sweet and straight to the point. They have a small garage, with a lot of street parking. If you ask, they will keep your cars overnight for you, so that you can pick it up the next day or such. The have a small sitting room, that is comfortable and relaxing. The guys here are really nice and pleasant to talk to. I've recommended this place to everyone with import cars. They do all type, besides Acura and Honda and the preimum cars like Lexis and BMW's. For you women out there who wants to get there and do something else while waiting for your car, there is a salon right next door.

I have always found all the guys in service to be very friendly and helpful. Sean is head of the dept. He solved a long time ignition problem on my scooter where others just kept selling me new batteries. He is never condescending and I believe truly wants to help you, not just run up your bill.

This review is for the sales department only, and to be more exact, for Aliresa (Ali), who made my purchase a rather pleasant experience. In this economy where we all have so much to worry about, the best thing that can happen when you go car-shopping is a mature sales person who knows the vehicles well and works with you to make the purchasing decision. I have had my mind set on a Mazda5 so the question really was which dealership. After becoming familiar with the trims, specs, and prices, I stopped by Putnam two weeks ago because it was the closest. Ali was on the lot and he greeted me right away. He asked me a few questions and led me to the vehicles I was interested in. He was refreshingly straight forward and sincere. After showing me the base trim as I requested, he introduced to me the additional features that come with the next trim, but he did not push me to buy. Putnam did not have the color combination I wanted for the base trim, so I left. Ali did not make me f

this guy really know his import cars. I get my car services here every couple of months and I have to say that this is among the nicest guys I know. He will talk to you and interact with you while you wait and give you details and explanation for the car-impaired (me!) without all the mumbo jumbo in between. At a great price and I trust having such a nice, smart guy behind the hood of my acura.
This is the type of place you want to have a long term relationship with. He is great and my car is running smoothly.

Usually when you see a great deal for a car in a newspaper ad, there's only one at that price and when you get there, it's "no longer available". Well,
I can say that it's different for the Putnam dealers in Burlingame. Putnam pretty much owns all the dealerships in Burlingame and they have tons of inventory.
When I saw an ad in the paper for a special deal on a Mazda MPV over the weekend, I went to check it out. To my surprise, a selection of cars were available. Instead of the usual, "one at that price" deal, they had five cars at that price.
As the prices were already rock bottom, the saleperson really wouldn't negotiate on price. However, he did throw in some extras like detailing, car mats, etc. The sales people here are nice and not like "used car salesmen" at all.

Being a car lover I always love to surf different websites to check the latest models. What fascinates me is the virtual brochure section with all the details about the latest models with their 360 degree pictures. They give ample information about the models. Besides the fact that the virtual brochure section takes a little bit more time to load, it is simply amazing. Even though I browse number of car sites a day, I found this dealership’s website as a treat to the eyes. I just love to visit this page again and again. With a long list of Chevrolet models in their inventory Putnam Chevrolet’s website is simply awesome!
