Good: The Hertel Avenue location is my favorite as a city gal.. A perfect selection of fresh produce, enticingly displayed, the freshest bakery and prepared foods. All of which are accompanied by the basics (and more) in fresh grocery items.. Bad: Absolutely nothing.. Improvements: Can't think of any.. Other: Go there when quality and service are paramount and the big-box store is too, too daunting that day, or any other. You will definitely find a more civilized way to do your grocery shopping at any of the Dash's locations.. more

Dash's 4/2/2006

This is a small grocery store located off Klein in the Williamsville/Amherst area. They have regular items that can be found in a grocery store and large prepared food section. The store is well kept and filled with friendly employees. I mainly come here for their prepared foods and butcher selection. more

A find in Amherst 3/27/2006

This is a local owned supermarket. This family owned company is so well run. All the employees love working here. They really keep this place clean and it is always stocked with great food. The prepared food section is my favorite. They have some great cooks here who make some wonderful prepared meals. more

Higher quality foods 3/19/2006

Dash’s food stores are a step above the other grocery stores in the area. It isn’t a place to shop for all your food needs unless you have plenty of money to spend because the food is top quality but the prices are typically higher also. They have meat sales occasionally that have excellent prices. When they have these sales their meat prices are the best in town. The produce is some of the freshest around. Since it is so fresh it lasts even longer once you get it home. Good food from a friendly store. more

good market place 1/16/2006

This is a good place to get your conference meeting food catered from. They came out to our business and brought quite a spread. Their cookies and desserts are out of this world. It is a little on the expensive side but it is so worth it. They even bring out a couple of their staff to set it up for you. They also have subs and other lunch items available for your meetings. They also brought us a vegetarian selection for those who do not eat meat. I would order from them again and my coworkers would thank me. more

Good for quick needs 8/8/2005

Dash's is a local supermart - it has a pretty large selection, but the prices are high. There are often specials that are worth stopping in for if you want to buy in quantity (ex. 5 loaves of bread for $5) - but by and large their produce and meats, as well as packaged foods, are a lot more expensive than the big chains. The food is really fresh and it is conveniently located and less busy than the chains. more
