This is a landmark in Buffalo. Shea’s has been renovated over the past 10-years. This is now one of the best places to catch a show or a concert in the country. The seating is in two sections. A lower level and a balcony. Most of prices here are very reasonable for a show.

I love Studio Arena. They always have the best shows and it's so pretty inside. If you go downtown at any time during the year, I would say Christmas would be the best time. They always have the windows decorated and Stufio Arena always has a great show. If you've never been, and even if you don't like theatre, I think you'll enjoy the culture of this building.

This is a great venue to watch a Sabres game or catch a concert. There is plenty of parking near the arena. Parking here is not like in other cities because the parking rates are reasonable. The venue itself is well kept and has nice acoustics.

My daughter had been taking dance at another dance studio, and she told me she wanted to quit very badly. When I asked why, she told me because the other girls in her class we really mean and she didn't want to go back. I told her she didn't have to if she didn't want to. She said she still wanted to take dance, just not at that studio. So I looked in the phone book and found South Buffalo'dance Depot'. So I called and she started dancing their. The price was very reasonable, and my daughter loved it. Plus she made friend the first day, and her instructor was very nice, friendly and knowledgeable towards the kids. I would definitely recommend South Buffalo'dance Depot' to anyone who wants to become a dancer or who wants to switch dance studio's

This is a modern well used facility in the heart of the University at Buffalo. They have hundreds of events a year from Broadway plays like Ms. Saigon to opera (Madama Butterfly on 10/17), performers like Bonnie Raitt and also the Margaret Mead film festival. There are actually 4 theaters and also an art gallery. Great sound. Good seating. Reasonable tickets. One of the advantages of being a UB student is access to this excellent venue for art, lectures, music, concerts and more!

...and a great school. I graduated from DYC about a year ago with a degree in Psychology. I couldn't have asked for a better educational experience. The small city campus, intimate class sizes and professors that care make it a place that is very conducive to learning.
New students will experience a fantastic orientation experience as well as "the freshman experience". I was a student orientation leader for two years, and very much enjoyed being a mentor to the new students.
For a small school, there is a lot going on. The student activities abound. Every weekend there is something going on. There is a large variety of clubs and organizations to join, and many work study opportunities.
I would be happy to talk with anyone who is interested in enrolling in DYC. I can't possibly tell you everything I know in this review.

Ujima is a very small theatre whose productions primarlily reflect the lives of African-Americans. It's located right on the Elmwood Strip in a small theatre setting. The theatre works to develop talent and is dedicated to the community as well, with workshops and theatre experience for youth in the local area. It is also the only professional theatre company in WNY that is dedicated to the development and presentation of work by persons of color.
The shows are very well done and the actors, actresses, and staff have such a passion for their work. This is definitely reflected in the productions. The community that goes are all there to support the theatre company and there's a welcoming feeling of familiarity and family, even if you haven't been before.

All local professional actors - some really good talent. It's best to see productions of famous shows...the locally written shows can be a little less engaging. It's fun to watch the local singers and dancers - it's not Broadway, but it is a fun time and nice to see local performers.

If you like to see live performance shows at a good price, you have to go and check out the alleyway theatre. The theatre is small, so wherever you sit you can see very well. The prices are reasonable too for tickets. The cashier is always friendly. The shows per season give a good variety too.
