This is a locally owned camera store. I visited this store recently when I was looking into purchasing a new digital camera. The staff was friendly and really knew their product line. In the end I felt the prices were too high and decided upon a camera at a different store. If the prices here were lower I’d probably come back here.

I’m a big fan of this place. They have deals once in the while in the local coupon section of the Buffalo News. Around Christmas I scored myself a sweet deal on a camera plus the coupon saved me $50. The staff here is great, they really know their business. They even print photos, it is a nice option for a camera store.

Unfortunately Delaware Camera has gained some employees that do not seem to really know very much about cameras or photography. In years past this shop has been top notch with the equipment and the knowledgeable staff. The last few times I have been in this shop over the past year the sales associates that have helped me did not know what they were talking about. I was inquiring into a new digital SLR and the associates were unable to answer several questions and then answered other questions completely wrong. There was another associate that seemed to be knowledgeable but he was tied up with a customer. (I make this statement because the person helping me kept asking him questions.)

I was there with my friend who draws pencil potraits and he needed some stuff to frame his potraits. I was really impressed by the wide selection available at this shop. They had everything at their place right from cameras, photography equipment to books on photography, frames for your pictures, film rolls, etc. The staff was very helpful and they showed us all the options that were available. The shop doesn't look anything fancy but they sure have everything that you need.

I already had a film and digital camera, but I needed to obtain some accessories for each (tripod etc.) I was hoping that among these I would be able to find some that would work for both. The sales person not only took the time to help me with this. He also help to explain the different options in a way that made me understand some higher and some lower prices. I felt they were looking out for best interest. I am more likely to consider this place first for my next camera purchase
