This place is unbecoming from the outside. However, once you step inside you see that they have quite a large selection of comics books. Also, they have a number of collectible card games (eg Magic). I was in here looking for a gift for a friend and found a good item very quickly. A comic book store really is made a lot better by its staff/owners. This place is no exception it was a great experience overall. I would highly encourage that you check it out. The prices were fair.

You can’t beat Gothic city. Located on Niagara street, this antique and architectural salvage shop has various warehouses on Buffalos west side. They have managed to find a bunch of matching moldings for our old house. We also picked up a great fire place mantel here as well as some old light fixtures. Be prepared to haggle as nothing is really priced.

We brought two old lights to this small shop on Hertel and it took the owner much longer than he said it would to refinish and rewire them. Every time I called I had sense he had forgotten about them. They are very nice here and do an excellent job, however. We are very happy with the way they both turned out and I would do more business with them even though it may take awhile to get anything back.

They sell in wholesale prices which makes it easier to afford some of these awesome antiques. I just wanted to share this review so more people can take advantage of this place too.

This is another antique place I found which was not only reasonable by price but also had a wide variety of selections. They had antiques from various rural places which was nice to see. They make some of the best show pieces in your home. I definitely shop here to get more of the marvelous antiques to improve the show of my entertainment center and fireplace. This is definitely woth checking out too.

Antique and Architectural Circus is another Buffalo salvage place. The warehouse is cold and messy and sometime a bit difficult to move around in. They have a great selection of old stuff that needs some attending to but if you are looking for things for your old house chance are you will find it here. Prices are not marked but the owner seems to be fair in his suggestions.

Horsefeather’s has a great collection of antiques and architectural pieces for your home. They are greatly over priced however and the staff is usually cranky which makes doing business with them unpleasant. In some ways it’s a museum because nobody really wants to buy anything from them. I would say it’s worth the look if money is no object or you just like browsing.
