This is a very fun atmosphere and good place to take your family. Maybe even cloming up to Independence day to have a lesson about our country's history. Make sure to stop over at Mrs. Knott's chicken restaurant to have some of her famous food...not free but a wonderful meal!

Knotts' Independence Hall is a little out-of-place now between the Picnic BBQ area on one side and Soak City, the water park, on the other. Still, it's fun to take the kids and walk through the replica of Independence Hall that the Knotts built years ago. Remember when this was the destination of school field trips? Go on a cold day so that the kids won't gaze longingly at the water park. Park along the Market Place for 3 hours of free parking. Then, walk through the tunnel under Beach Blvd. (this adds to the adventure) and follow the path to Independence Hall. Admission is free. Employees are dressed in colonial costume and the gift shop sells inexpensive items for kids.
