They have always been very helpful and knowledgeable, but I was motivated to write a review today because I was blown away by how classy they were. Here's the situation: I got a gift card for my birthday to Bryn Mawr Running Company, but instead of the $25 it was supposed to have, when they rang up my purchase, the card had $0! Instead of giving me a hard time, the salesman took $25 off the price of the shoes and sent me happily on my way.
This place knows how to treat customers in a way that makes them want to come back!
Pros: 10% discount on shoes for high schoolers who run with school

I really miss having a Dunking Donuts near me. They have the best coffee. It's not like the strong stuff at Starbucks, but more of a dessert coffee with tons of sugar and cream. It's wonderful, especially when it's cold outside. Their iced coffees are great too. Their donuts are fresh and consistent (as long as you go to a busy location). My favorite flavors are blueberry cake and chocolate glazed. I miss my Dunkin Donuts!

Wonderful place! Friendly, knowledgable staff. Not sure what the other reviewer was talking about...everytime I have been there the sales associates were bending over backward to help me out. Full service pharmacy but with that local neighborhood feel.

The Camera Shop has a very good and economical processing lab for digital and film, including medium format and black & white films. Their prices are good and the online uploading is almost foolproof, you can upload pictures in the evening and pick them up the next day.
I have not purchased any camera equipment from this shop but their selection looks good.

this is a great place to come to for non-mainstream, organic, whole foods. they have a fabulous selection of veggies and fruits, a wonderful deli counter with lots of prepared salads, meats, and fish, and a dessert counter like you wouldn't believe (i highly recommend not starting the shopping there because you will buy every kind of cake they have on display and promptly eat them all). it's kind of like whole foods, but even more exclusive and non-commercial seeming.

I attended this school recently. I went all through the Lower Merion school district and all of the schools are amazing. The LMSD school district always lists in the top 10 in the country in terms of education. Harriton is always winning awards of all kinds. THe classes are small and there is tons of special attention. THe teacher to student ratio is about 1:4. Most classes are smaller than 15 people. THe work is challenging and tons of AP classes are offered.
I will probably move to this area so my kids can attend school here. It is like a private school but public.

The Staples in Bryn Mawr is a good place to go for basic office needs, but it is not the biggest, best Staples around. They have a decent selection of products, but the store is not as big as others and does not have the space for a better selection of products. You will be able to find most of what you need here, but you won't have much to choose from.
