Reservations were honored immediately when we arrived at 6:30pm . The dining and bar areas were packed. Waiter was at table to take drink orders. He was extremely efficient throughout the whole meal with additional servers for the entrees. Fish, pork, salads, etc. were beautifully presented and enjoyed by 6 at a round table. Located In the original Bryn Mawr freight and passenger train station. Free, ample parking. Both exterior and interior have theme of the Tango. Rated it with 5-stars.

For the longest time I avoided dining at Tango. That was a mistake. We've been there quite a few times in the recent past and each time we've been totally pleased. The service in particular is outstanding. It's efficient, friendly, yet not obsequious. The menu is extensive and there's something for everyone, from strictly American fare, to Asian-influenced, to eclectic choices.

This place really needs to get serious about its food. I have eaten there twice in the last 6 years and the menu and presentation were unchanged. Just as the first time, I found it uncomposed, unfocused and down right boring. We sat at the bar and had a knowledgeable bartender. I got excited when he said they had chilean sea bass that night, but they ended up doing it Piccata. Booooooring. My friend got a half pound of salmon and it was dry with no effort in the prentation or flavor combinations.
My recommendation is not to go there unless they clean house in the kitchen and get someone in there with some talent. And at those prices I think they owe that to their customers. especially if they want to gain a younger clientel once the relics that eat there start dying off.
Pros: Knowledgeable and well-trained staff, good wine
Cons: Food is a hot disaster

This is a great date place. My husband and I go here all of the time. The lights are low, the volume does not get too loud and the food is delicious. My favorite dinner is the Rainbow Trout. It is cooked to perfection and has a great flavor to it. The capers add an excellent flavor. An end to a perfect meal includes any of their desserts. I highly recommend the bread pudding. It comes out piping hot with a side of vanilla ice cream. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Pros: Ambience
Cons: terrible parking

My husband and I went to Tango for the first time on our one year anniversary. The food was amazing (try the brie and apple salad) and our server could not have been more attentive. The only thing that occasionally broke the spell of the place was the occasional train whizzing past. The trains are the only thing that keeps me from saying this was the best restaurant I have ever been to.
Pros: food, service, ambience
Cons: trains

Fairly good value. My last entree, a cashew crusted salmon was very, very good. My wife had a very good hanger steak. Worth a trip once a year, but not a destination place. Will go back.

We went to Tango after reading the reviews on this site and talking to some friends that have been there. It was great! We were seated right away and we did not experience any of the infrequent service that was mentioned in the reviews. The basket of warm bread with olive oil was a nice start to a fantastic meal. The warm spinach and crab dip was great not sure what other posters where referring to. The crab was jumbo lump crab meat and more then enough to share. The entrees were served warm and cooked perfect. Dont skip dessert! The decor was warm and inviting and the outside dining would be perfect on a summer night. We are already planning on going back. We spent $123 with tax/tip for two. It included appetizer, two $25 entrees, two desserts and four drinks. Well worth every penny!!!
Pros: unique, great food
