The Greenpoint Y is a gem. Its clean, well-maintained facilities include a pool and a weight room with assorted machines, and it offers all kinds of classes—yoga, tai chi, pilates, aerobics, and more, plus a whole kids’ program with dance, swimming, and summer camp sessions. The best part is that a monthly membership of $40 allows you to sign up for as many classes as you can fit into your schedule, so that the more you take, the cheaper it works out per class. Even at just one weekly yoga class, though, say, it’s less expensive than pretty much anywhere else, and the atmosphere is relaxed and down-to-earth. Also, if you have visitors coming into town, you can send them to stay here guilt-free—the rooms are basic but perfectly nice, and a real bargain. The Village People weren’t kidding around.

After a wedding, we needed a car to get home. We called for car service and me and my aunt got in. She lives in a different part of Brooklyn than me but we pass her house on the way to mine. After she got off, we drove to my house and the guy charged my three dollars more because of an extra stop. I was mad but had no choice but to pay the greedy driver.

When my grandmother needed a ride to the airport we dialed the closest car service. Five minutes later they arrived. We asked the driver to take us to JFK airport. He took the shortest path in the least time. He was very street smart. We got there in thirty minutes. Thanks to this car service she had two hours remaining to chat with us after checking in. It was a great experience.

I love the $20 round trip Chinatown buses, but this one stunk, literally. And not just the bathroom, but the whole bus - for 4 hours - smelled not-so-faintly of urine; the bathroom itself was filthy and nearly unusable, even as far as bus bathrooms go.
The bus did arrive on time, and this company goes to more cities that some of the others, but if you have a choice, choose another company.

I always use Harbor View Car service when I have to go to the Bay Ridge Area for doctor's appointments or whatever. I use Harbor View because I know they are reliable. I call them and tell them to pick my up in a certain place at a certain time and I know they'll be there. Their prices are about the same as other car services in the area. The drivers are very nice and help me with my stroller and open the doors for me because they see I have a baby. They have nice, clean, air conditioned cars.

Why pay $45 plus tolls and tip to get to the airport from Manhattan when you can get there for $15? This service is fast, friendly and convenient. They pick up in various locations in Manhattan and get you to the airport in a jiffy. Senior citizens pay $7. The buses are also very clean and comfortable.

Speedy is a very good name for this car rental store because they are very speedy. You will get your car quickly. I recently had to rent one to take a vacation trip, and I was in and out of their office in about half an hour. I think they are a little less expensive than other car rental places. The customer service people are very nice and will answer any questions you may have. They don't try to push you to buy unnecessary things. I told them I have car rental insurance through my credit card and that was fine with them. They didn't pressure me to buy their insurance anyway. I found it very easy to rent a car from them and plan to go there next time I need to rent one.

This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of boro park. It really does live up to its name. The Lobby is exquisite, and the rooms are new and beautifully appointed. They have their own parking lot. (so you dont have to wake up at eight in the morning to move your car, and the service is wonderful. With all this they accept AAA discounts, and are very reasonably priced.

This hotel is small but wonderfully appointed. you can tell that alot of work was involved in decorating this hotel. Be warned. It is not for the clausterphobic guest. the hall is very very thin. I cant see two thin people being able to fit side by side. But the owner is nice, it is very cheap, and its a hotel in boro park!
