After the old location of Zuzu's Petals on 7th Avenue fell prey to a fire from the restaurant next door, it was unclear if and when and where it would reopen. Well, they have a new location on 5th Avenue and have made a lovely little shop. It is small, but they have a nice variety of stuff. It would be nice if people went down to 5th Ave to continue to support them, even if the location may not be as convenient as the old one.

This place is one of those neighborhood clothing stores that lacks the latest fashions that you would probably find in a Manhattan boutique. It's predominantly clothing styled for Jewish women because it is a Jewish neighborhood. Also, the prices are pretty standard. You definitely don't get the exorbitant Manhattan prices here, but you don't get much of a selection either.

I love Zoo loo. This store's got everything, friendly associates, a great selection of leather coats and jackets, fair prices and of course top quality products. I've been to the store myself several times and I cannot find a single flaw. It's as if the employees treat me with a higher priority than others. Again, I'd love to benefit the store using this review: It is a great place to go, just go down there, pick out what you want, and get a great experience like I did. I hope you all enjoy this wonderfully jolly branch. Cheers.

This is a great store to buy jackets. They have all types of leather. They often set up sales racks outside where they hang up all the jackets that go one sale. I bought 2 of my coats that way. The owners are very nice. They help you try on the jackets and give you their honest opinion on how you look. This is a well trusted place and highly recommended.

On certain nights if you're lucky you just might catch a man known as the fierce Mr. Raul Duke drunk off fruity girly drinks flamingo dancing to the musical stylings of InXS. After numerous zombies watch as he jives up to numerous women smelling each ones hair then tells anyone close enough that he could take any woman in the bar to get chicken parm them feel them up on the pier. Watch closely when he whips out his bill fold and you just might glimpse his treasured picture of a shirtless Hugh Jackman loving pressed into his wallet. This might be the only chance to see his wallet as he will always tell you he has no cash as the bill comes. The man known as The Duke is a tight fisted man. As the night winds down he will exclaim in a slurred raspy voice his overwhelming desire for pregnant woman he would marry if only a few years older. (Sorry to get off topic but the bar does have good drinks and a nice staff.)
Pros: Long hair
Cons: No pregnant women

I've lived in Dumbo for 5 years and have slowly watched its transition into the upscale neighborhood it is today. I was so excited when Zoe finally opened last November because I now have a Manhattan caliber store just outside my door. Their selection is amazing and I feel that they've chosen the best of the best from each collection. Whether it's a Stella McCartney trench, a 3.1 Phillip Lim dress or a pair of Jimmy Choo's, I always walk out loving what I've bought. And the sales girls are always so friendly and they make me feel like they are genuinely excited to see me, unlike some of the other stores in Brooklyn. Definitely a store worth checking out if you haven't already and it is definitely another Dumbo Desitnation, right up there with Jacques Torres.
Pros: Designer clothes and you don't have to go to Manhattan!
Cons: It's right outside my door and too easy to find something I like
