Usually when I go to any Old Navy I scour the clearance area for deals - this store doesn't have many items on clearance - however their regular sales are decent and the store is relatively well maintained. My only gripe would be their shopping carts don't work all that well. It was like pushing a sherman tank!

At Red Lobster, there is something for all. From tender and fresh fish to the grilled Salmon. And the succulent Shrimps and Grilled Chicken and Steak. Yummy!!! I just love Seafood. Red Lobster has best cheese biscuits. I love their Lobster Feast Specials. And the All You can Eat Shrimp Specials too. My husband does not eat Seafood but Red Lobster also offer Chicken and Steak.

Tiny cafe shoved next to Dumont on Union Ave, across the street from Kellogs Diner, it's very easy to miss. However, having gone there for lunch today, they make excellent sandwiches and havea wide coffee bar selection. Alos offer free wifi and have a computer there for you to use.

More
In creating Stain, Krista Madsen hoped to provide a home for locals to enjoy a glass of wine and soak in some culture. Madsen refurbished an empty space on Grand Street as a labor of love. She is a novelist and a big supporter of Brooklyn’s artistic community. Entertainment at Stain includes a rotating art gallery, acoustic music performances and live author readings. When she’s not writing, she’s researching wines for the exclusively New York-made wine list. Madsen is always on the hunt for an unusual addition to her line up. She favors either the NY Reisling ($7 a glass/ $22 for a bottle) from Treleaven, a delicate dry wine with a floral character, or the Gristina Cabernet Franc ($10/$30) that she describes as vibrant and bold with hints of black pepper.

The Gap, A world of denim, they carry an excellent variety of clothing for Men and Women, as well as Children and Infants.
They should have stolen the slogan, “The Price is Right” because that’s how one feels when shopping here. I shop here and I’m confident in recommending Gap to anyone I know for their clothing needs. And not only are their products in the right price range, durable they are as well.
Gap, just look around the corner, you just might see one of their stores near you.

I went to this steakhouse for a friend's birthday. The food is pretty alright, very filling. However, the price is a bit pricey. Also, I didn't like the service that much. The waiter messed up my drinks.

Down at the unfashionable end of Grand Ave in the East Williamsburg area, Grand Central is a bit of a divy place, but the drinks are cheap and the ambience is nice. They have pool table, couches, and a back area for smoking, so it's a great place to chill the night away

Blue Lady has been in Williamsburg for 3 years, and never seems to be busy. However, they do have quite a few giveaways for the bar patrons that are there. They have free wireless internet, as well as computers for you to use there, as long as you're drinking. Occasionally they servce brunch, and occasionally they have bands playing. Whether any of these gimmicks will make it the popular place it deserves to be , who knows. It is a quality time though

The Pourhouse was around long before Williamsburg was a fashionable area, and it shows. It's a little run down, has more than a few seedy customers late at night, but it's still a great place. Cheap drinks, pool tables, live music, and very friendly bartenders make it an enjoyable night. Also, they still have 2-4-one nights, and ladies' nights.

More
This is the university I am currently attending. First off, there are a lot of Polytechnic students who hate this school. It is not the most entertaining university one can attend. In fact, there really isn't much to do there. So if you're looking for a party school, this is wrong place to be.
Education wise, I would say is somewhat good. The rigorous math program here at Polytechnic usually filters out the students who don't belong here. I came to this school knowing 30 students, now I only see around 8 from my entering class. A lot have left due to academic problems, financial problems, and disgust for the school.
The administration for this school is bad, really bad. The president of the university is useless and incompetent. The tuition is raised yearly by 3%-6% and students are usually bombarded with loans the moment they graduate. What's worse about the tuition raises is that they have the nerve to offer a "contract" for students to sign that will charge them a higher price for tuition, but at a fixed price for their entire duration at the school. That is just their way of admitting that the tuition WILL be raised yearly and making themselves seem like the good guys by offering this "contract". That, to me, is what makes me hate this school. But with that said, they are very generous when it comes to financial aid.
Overall, I would only recommend Polytechnic University to someone if they are looking to learn and willing to stand a few vain busting administration problems.
